Read up a little on zone blocking. It appears from the Packers forum that you guys think your line will transform into the Broncos this offseason, but don't be so sure.
Zone blocking requires a strong interior line and capable guards. Where are those capable guards at? You guys WILL BE blitzed to death this year.
I don't see zone blocking working in GB this season unless they go out and get some new personnel before camp. And that's just not going to happen.
Anyways, GB fans, keep it in perspective. If your line does start to play well, it won't be until at least mid-season.
Right out of the gates, you're going to get your asses handed to you.

Bottom line is that zone blocking is not a walk in the park and it requires the right personnel. Do you think you have the personnel to make this work?

you're absolutely right, the unfortunate learning curve will definitely be a factor for us this season.

the Lions are installing a new offense as well, no? with the new face(s) at quarterback and on the coaching staff i'd say growing pains are on the horizon for your squaud as well.

    fun times.

Notice that I'm not making any Lions predictions...
The Lions are also installing a zone-blocking OLine. But I think the Detroit OLine is superior to the Packers'.
I think the Lions are going to have a sub-par record... but I think the Packers will be even worse.

Some are inexperienced? Namely, both starting guards.
    Whitticker and Wells.

    you're 100% right.

Except the part where you're 100% WRONG.

Wells is not a starting guard. Whitticker is not starting guard. Holy cow you are an idiot.

Know who is playing what position before you wanna get smart, moron.

    nfl.com's depth chart says that.
    But nevertheless, two rookie guards.

oh, well that must be right, then! Nfl.com depth chart said so, right!? LMAO!

As a future mod, it is my duty to not get into it with you. Your (lack of) intelligence, however, will make it easy for some of the other good members on this forum to destroy you with your sillyness.

    Good day, sir.

Do you honestly expect me to look up everything about your crappy team? Do you expect me to have inside info that only Green Bay-natives and die hard Packers fans have? Get real. I look it up on the NFL's official website and that's good enough for me. Correct me if you must, but I'm not sifting through Green Bay's worthless dailies to get the inside scoop on your terrible o-line.

Two rookies starting. Sorry I didn't have their names correct. BTW, you'd make a fairly useless moderator.
