I'll take a verbal beating right now.............you won. Congratz but 2-7 isn't anything to be proud about. We'll give you a shout out when you are watching us during the playoffs cause it doesn't look like you'll be going. Or I could be wrong, you guys do play in the worst division in all of the NFL.

All I have to say is Atlanta 27 - Green Bay 7 .......God that was a great game. :D

We gave the Falcons bird flu. Give some to the Eagles as well. That was a classic choke job the other night.

Touche.......but it looks like the dirty birds are gonna be alot closer to achiving a Super Bowl victory than the Packers at this point. Packers will be going through rebuilding in the years to come. You guys will start to get used to these 2-7 starts. Feel sorry for Farve, but oh well your future looks sooooo bright with Aaron Rodgers at QB hahahahahahaa

How do you "achive" a Super Bowl victory anyway? I'm pretty sure you were attempting to spell "achieve". You're a real Webster buddy!

Wow.......that is your best comeback? I misspelled achieve at like 3 in the morning last night before I went to bed. Nice.

On an unrelated subject, I noticed that you are from ND. What part? Fargo? Grand Forks?

Probably not my best comeback...what the hell are you doing on a Packer fan site at 3 in the morning? Were you trying to come on here and bash the Packers since that's all you have left after the beatdown they gave the Falcons? Don't kid yourself - the Falcons aren't going anywhere with a QB that can't throw the ball. The Packers beat the so-called best team in the NFC with a 5th string RB, top 2 of 3 receivers out for the year, and several other injuries.

On your other topic, I'm from Bismarck.

[IMG]In May of nineteen forty-one the war had just begun,
The Germans had the biggest ship,
    They had the biggest guns.
The Bismarck was the fastest ship,
    That ever sailed the seas,
On her deck were guns as big as steers,
And shells as big as trees.
Out of the cold and foggy night,
Came the British ship the Hood.
And ev'ry British seaman he knew and understood,
They had to sink the Bismarck, the terror of the sea.
Stop those guns as big as steers,
And those shells as big as trees.

    We'll find that German battleship,
    That's makin' such a fuss.
    We gotta sink the Bismarck,
'Cause the world depends on us.
They hit the decks a-runnin' boys,
    And spin those guns around.
When we find the Bismarck we gotta cut her down.

The Hood found the Bismarck and on that fatal day.
The Bismarck started firin' fifteen miles away.
We gotta sink the Bismarck was the battle sound.
But when the smoke had cleared away,
    The mighty Hood went down.
For six long days and weary nights,
They tried to find her trail.
Churchill told the people put ev'ry ship a-sail,
    'Cause somewhere on that ocean,
    I know she's gotta be.
We gotta sink the Bismarck to the bottom of the sea.

    And spin those guns around.
When we find the Bismarck we gotta cut her down.

The fog was gone the seventh day,
And they saw the mornin' sun.
    Ten hours away from homeland,
    The Bismark made its run.
The Admiral of the British fleet said,
    Turn those bows around.
    We found that German battleship,
And we're gonna cut her down.

    The British guns were aimed,
And the shells were comin' fast.
The first shell hit the Bismarck,
    They knew she couldn't last.
That mighty German battleship is just a memory.
Sink the Bismarck was the battle cry,
    That shook the seven seas.

    We found that German battleship,
    Was makin' such a fuss.
We had to sink the Bismarck,

He was actually refering to a tasty Italian dish that is served at halftime during all Falcons games. It tast ok for a few minutes but then you start to choke on it.
Did I mention that Michael (Kordell Stewart Jr.) Vick is the most over rated QB ever?
    :D

That's funny. What's up Phil? Looks like the Bears are really starting to come together. I hate it but at least I can admit it, right?

Did you see the beatdown the Bears gave Jake Delhomme today? I wouldn't be surprised if he gave his retirement speech tomorrow morning...God, he's gonna be sore!

It was nice. The Panthers looked beat as a team man. Both lines dominated the game and they should have won by more than 10 points.
The defense and running game are more than good enough to take them deep into the playoffs but Orton at QB is a handicap. It is not the kid’s fault that he was thrown to the Lions (no pun intended) so soon. He played very little during the pre-season and today was only his 10th NFL game. I saw the incredible Mr. Vick fumble with under 2:00 to play and cost his team the game today. Except for the Bengal’s game Orton has not "lost" them a game yet. It would be nice to see a blow out so Blake can get some playing time just in case of an injury.

How close is Grossman in his comeback from injury? When he does, does Orton keep the job? I would think that if the Bears continue to win, the job will more than likely stay with the rookie and rightfully so. I cringe at the thought of the Packers offense (as it is) going up against the Bears right now. If you add a healthy Walker, Green, etc., it may be different. Something tells me that Samkon Gado may not be the heir apparent for the Packers, y'know? :-?

They claim that Grossman would be ready in two weeks but I would not mess with anything right now. If you yank Orton just to give Grossman back the job then you risk pissing away any confidence that he has built so far. If Orton struggles then you still have Blake who was once a pretty good QB and now knows the system. Orton has more games under his belt than Grossman does at this point.

By giving it back to Grossman you risk having a passing game too.
