Packers Have Secured $825,000 In Grants For Youth and Prep Fields Since 1998

The Green Bay Packers Foundation presented Wrightstown High School with a $250,000 grant for the school's new football stadium in an announcement today at the school.

The grant, awarded by the Packers Foundation with funds secured through the NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant Program, will be used to match money already raised and help finish the new football stadium, a project which includes seating for 1,200, a scoreboard, fencing around the facility, an entry gate and expansion of the restrooms.

"The Packers are excited to assist Wrightstown High School and the Homefield Advantage group with their work on the new stadium," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, a member of the NFL Youth Football Committee since 2002. "High school football games are a great community event and we're proud to support a great high school in our area."
