Longwell wins it for the Vikings. Keeps them and the Bears pretty much cleaning up the cellar!
Hester had a big day. Now for anyone that questioned why we didn't kick to him last week.......the guy can motor.

Well....i look at it that the Bears are more of a worry then the Vikings to me. So keeping them in the rear view mirror is important. Although who knows............with the Vikings suddenly wising up and using Peterson, they could start winning games. Of course, it was only the Bears they beat!

Yup.....of course we had to play the Bears AND the refs!
But you are right....we are pretty pathetic........our lousy 5 wins and 1 loss, in first place in the division and tied for first in the whole NFC. Yup.....you are right.......your 2-4 Vikings are the powerhouse of the division!!! We are SOOOOOOOOO pathetic!!!
Oh.....you had to beat the Bears using one of our castoffs!

I admit that we lost to the Bears... and mostly because we couldn't take advantage of a weak interior of the Bears defense..

We shall see what your mighty Vikings have for the Cowboys this weekend.. I think I read someplace "Romo to have a field day against the Vikings"... even the Viking faithful see it comming..

Rejoice this week my Viking friend... because that chipper 'tude might be a little sour for the next couple weeks

We will maintain our chipper tudes. You Packer fans must be having nightmares. Knowing that you are going to have to watch Adrian Peterson run over your team for the next few years. I didn't think it was possible, but Childress got smarter. He instituted some sort of tracking system to track how many plays Peterson is in the game for. Lucky for the Packers that they were just guestimating before the last game. That is why Peterson was in the game for only 25 of 65 offensive plays when the Vikings played the Packers. They intended for him to be in on half of the offensive plays, but had not tracking system installed. Beware, he has one now. Great players make average coaches great. Poor coaches make great players average. Childress moved from the latter to the prior.
I cannot understand why it took him a full month of the season to have some type system intact to track carries, but it did, and it cost us dearly.

Actually I hope the Vikes keep giving AP the rock and ride him like a horse as he'll be burnt out by the end of his rookie year and he can join the cadilac in the garage

Hmmm, I wonder what you have been watching.
Chester Taylor gets more carries than Peterson does.
We can only pray that Childress is smart enough to at least give Peterson half the carries.

Actually your right and for the sake of the kid I hope they keep doing it exactly the same way and resist the urge to give AP all the carries. Other good news for him is looking at the Bears game he hardly ever got tackled so that's always good for the body.
Someone from Vikes country will have to let ESPN guys know he won't soon be known by his initials as they all think as in LT. Let em know he already has intials AD as in ALL DAY Peterson. Damn I got tired of hearing that at the game and I'm sure I'll have too listen to it for years to come
