Pressure up front creates many opportunities. Hodge was in the right place at the right time and made the most of it.

Pack gave up over 200 yards to Alexander. Wow, do we need our starting middle linebacker back.

haha yea billy... but hodge played decent and its nice to know hes servicable at worst when we need him.

Nick barnett is the starter and when healthy will remain the starter.

none the less. FEAR THE BUTCHER

hodge looked solid but lacked anticipation vs. the run..it will come in time and i still say it was a steal of a pick

Barnett wouldn't of made much of a difference. Yes some but not much. Seattle's offensive line was man handling our defensive line. Mack Strong would take out a LB. Alexander would make cut backs. Seattle was just to much for our D-line to handle.

You're right. When an OL is allowed to hold and tackle the DL instead of block, then the OL can dominate.

Actually Hodge was slow to react and was left on the ground many times when he was in position to tackle Alexander -- not being blocked by Strong.

He did ok, but didn't show his instincts and was therefore slow to react. IMO he was trying to think too much instead of play naturally. Read-React happens a lot faster than Read--Think---React. This will come with experience, just as it has for Hawk.

    GO PACK GO!!!
