Anyone that's traveled to other cities around the country can see how much Milwaukee sucks.

Michigan and wisconsin are much better states than Minnesota. Their brains are probably still thawing out living in Minnesota. :lol:

I HAVE traveled all over the country.........i disagree. Do you think Chicago, or Detroit, or New York are BETTER then Milwaukee??? They are BIGGER, but NOT better in my view. Milwaukee is cleaner, and safer then the big boys.

Oh.....and Cajed........i DID notice all the spelling errors!!! It was FUNNY! They think they are smarter then us, and can't even SPELL correctly!!! What a JOKE!

Yeah Cheesy, I really do think NYC and Chicago are better than Milwaukee. Detroit, not so much. However, those are the big boys and not really comperable. If you go to cities of comperable size, such as Nashville, Charlotte, or Austin, you'll see a difference.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of driving 70+ blocks through awful neighborhoods to get to UW-Milwaukee from my house, while hearing people shout crap at me like "Cracka what you doin' in our hood?" because I drive a car that works and listen to rap music while driving it.

Oh, and safer? Remember that summer where there were 50+ murders in Metcalfe Park? In addition, I know a 50 year old lady that got jumped IN HER BACKYARD last week. She lives by Saint Sebastian's, around 55th and Lloyd.

Drive around Nashville or Charlotte or Austin. Tell me if you see anything that resembles Tower Automotive.

I could go on and on about how much I dislike this town.

I guess i'm just a "homer". I KNOW Milwaukee has gone down hill........as have the other cities you mentioned. And it's true, there are areas I won't drive through now.........but the problem is the PEOPLE, NOT the city itself. The mindset of the people today is just as you stated. They hate everyone else that isn''t THEIR color. I always see racists depicted as white guys, but there are JUST as many black racists as whites. No one seems to want to address that issue, like it's OK to hate us BECAUSE we are white. If people could get PAST the skin color, things would be SO much better for everyone! But it will never happen......sadly.
