Would the Pack be interested in pickin RB Anthony Thomas ??

He was just released by Dallas , he'd be a decent backup . I don't know the $$ it would take to sign him . With the rash of injuries this year , maybe we should at least put him on the practice squad for insurance .

I'd take a look at him. I'm not an expert as to how the practice squad works but I don't think a veteran like him would be eligible for the practice squad.

amos zeroue was released by NE today...a lot like Tony Fisher, not the short yardage back we could use, but a veteran nonetheless

The A-Train never really impressed me. I would rather see Rashard, Samko and Walt Williams (#29 on the active roster) get some work.
A-Train isn't eligible for the practice squad.

I agree with yooperfan. Chances are even if Ted Thompson signed Anthony Thomas he most likely wouldn't be back next season. Lee, Fisher, Williams, and Samko are getting it know the system so lets see what they can do.
