Looking at a broader spectrum than just this year, who do you think is the worst NFL owner?

    Dan Snyder is pretty bad.

Ralph Wilson is the cheapest bastard in the league though.

    Ralph Wilson!
Maybe it's just because the Bills are the closest franchise to me so I hear about them all the time...

Ok I get the whole Jamarcus Russell pick being terrible. But please find me a team that hasnt had a terrible pick in the 1st round. I think I could name 10 packer ones off the top of my head.

The Seymour trade turned out to be pretty good for Oakland actually.

Hire a GM? maybe Al should at his age but you gotta remember Al is the smartest owner the league ever had football wise. 4th best winning percentage all time says alot.

Without the brilliance of Al Davis I doubt the Packers would of had the great Willie Wood.

IMO its the Bidwells. The oldest franchise in the NFL, been around since 1898 and owned by the bidwells since the 1930s. They have won 5 total playoff games in their history. No franchise has been as bad, for as long, as the cards. The blame has to fall on the owners.

You could make an argument for the Ford family though.

Mike Johnson, without a doubt. He peed in the freezer at a party I was at; hit on the hosts' wife; told a racist joke to a black lady; then, as he was being asked to leave, he starts screaming about not having enough booze. He owns a share of Packer stock.

Dont forget it wasnt that long ago that the Raiders played in the SB. Actually more recently than the Packers. And got robbed of another thanks to Brady and the refs.

I think alot of people hammered Davis for the trade, and I agree for the most part that they had to do alot to keep him, but I dont think the trade is as bad as everyone thought it would be.

Al Davis, but Snyder is breathing down his neck.

Agreed! IMO Snyder.. He's been trying to buy a championship for a long while now and isn't retaining the coaching staff. Also, he seems to be more of a fan than an owner. Being buddy buddy with the players wont get you anywhere. They will love you as an owner, but when you develop relationships that you cannot (or have a hard time) part with, your team just becomes stagnant.

As a person? Dan Rooney, for selling his soul to the president in order to get the position of ambassador to Ireland. As an owner, probably Ford.
