He's taken some slamming hard hits over the past few years. On Twitter, he seems kinda out of it and disoriented:

11:57: Done with my Friday work time to eat!! Eat eat eat... (lmfao vocie "shots")

12:04: My bad it is Thursday!! See I worked so hard forgot what day it was lol

Anyone here know anything about concussions? I know memory loss is one symptom... might need to target Rolando McClain in the draft (or Weatherspoon) if it becomes obvious that Barnett's melon has taken a few too many shots...

And if he had to stop playing, could he stay on as a coach? It'd be nice to keep him around.

He'll probably get kicked to the curb and end up in Jacksonville... :crybye:

Maybe we could trade him, Finley, and Matthews for a new general manager...

Could he even pass a trade physical with a concussion problem?

He just missed the date... Nothing major here.

I find myself writing the date as 2009 quite often...

But that's simply the habit of writing "2009", whereas Barnett screwed up what day it was...

Even if he can keep playing, this could be a problem. What if he wakes up on Sunday (gameday) and thinks it's Saturday? Hopefully Ted and Co. will investigate this and get Barnett an assistant if he needs one...

I wouldn't worry about it... everyone has those weeks where it feels like its Friday and its actually Wednesday. I'm more concerned on whats coming up in April. That is what is going to tell what happens to us next season.

Hopefully Russell Okung will slide to us, otherwise it's just a crapshoot. :(

99% chance we won't get Okung. (You just can never say never).

But about Barnett having a concussion, that's an awful big conclusion you're taking from a wrong date mentioned in tweeter...

And if the medics actually discover any signs of concussion in him, I really doubt it'll prevent him from playing football altogether, when he's only 28.

He has tweeted before about sharting, but noone is suggesting that he buy adult diapers, because he might have bowel problems or something...

    We're screwed:

I just pointed out two symptoms of concussions that Barnett has displayed. It's my opinion that he could have a concussion problem based off of this. What do you want, head xrays?

Then I guess small children and babies need head tests. They might have concussions too! Pooing all over themselves and not being very bright and stuff you know.

I think I'm going to fit in quite nicely here. With the exception of one poster there seem to be some alright people in this forum.

That's normal behavior for an infant. Nick Barnett is not an infant.

I've had times in the past when I've messed up on the day of the week. Does that mean that I have concussion problems? No, it does not. I wouldn't worry about it.

I was on spring break last week. When I have nothing to do for days at a time, I often forget which day it is. They all kind of run together. Might be the same for Nick.

Jesus man, the sky is not falling. Step back, take a deep breath and relax. It will be ok, really. He screwed up the day of the week. Really, it's not a big deal. You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

No...trade him, Rodgers and Thompson to Buffalo for a waterboy to be named later.

The only real problems I have with Barnett are his age *He's 31 or 32* his size *He STILL looks small even though he's listed at 235*, his surgically repaired knee...AND the fact that if he goes down...Bishop is in the lineup! Bynes would be a GREAT addition to the defense next year just for those purposes.
