I have thinking a lot today about Kampman and how we lost one of our most beloved players in order to change defensive schemes. Well, here is an idea for how we can support AK74 on our opening game:

    1. All fans wear Kampman's teal Jaguars jersey to our first home game. This will send a message to Ted/McCarthy that the fans care about our great players, and those players deserve to be treated with better respect.

    2. Start a massive fan movement on Twitter asking Packers players (I know Ryan Grant is on Twitter, as is Nick Barnett, etc.) to wear teal Jaguars Kampman jersey's in all of our practices this offseason. Once the season starts, ask if the will wear "AK74" stickers on their gear somewhere (and maybe even tattoos for those players who are so inclined).

    3. Fans need to pour in the written letters to Ted/McCarthy that this season won't be the same without Kampman. They thought they could completely redo the defensive system and dump one of our great Packers without any thought to him or his family, but we can't let them do it.

Who else will stand up for AK74? I won't sit by idly while watching higher-ups kick our favorite players to the curb! :bomb:

I can't take it anymore... I have to say something.

IT IS PART OF THE BUSINESS

Good grief, get a grip. I like Kampman as much as the next guy, but come on. Are you kidding me? He didn't fit in the system and I want to see him succeed and do well. He belongs in a 4-3 and always has. He gave us memories and was a great part of the organization.... that said, I have no inclinaton to want to do anything suggested above. He said his good bye, and showed why he is such a stand up guy... now let it go.

I don't like TT very much either, but seriously enough ragging on the dude.

OR.....we could all plan a time to get together and meet at my time machine I have invented and go back into time when Ted was thinking about switching to the 3-4 defense and convince him to stay with the 4-3 solely for the reason to keep one player. So for those that think that idea is just as good if not better than packerpower's, we are meeting in the middle of Lake Michigan tomorrow morning to rewrite time to keep Kampman. See you then. :sinking:

THEN WHY GO OUT AND SWITCH TO A 3-4?????????

We chased away arguably our best defensive player for no reason.

I understand that you're upset but the NFL isn't a drama or TV show. It's fine to put your emotions into the game if your heart is really into football, but you shouldn't take it to far. The job of every team is to win a superbowl not tattoo their names around on their arms or twitter messages about their unhapiness.

And we're never going to win a SB by getting the whim to switch defenses, chasing away our best defender in the process.

Kampman wasn't our best defender, Charles Woodson is and not just because of this year with his DPOY award but he's been consistent year in and year out. Speaking of the DPOY award, I bet you Dom's switch to the 3-4 had nothing to do with it right?

Waaaarrgggggggggg this is so saddening to see. You know what, our fans don't deserve Kampman. A class act belongs on a class act team with class act fans, not in a city where GMs and coaches kick you to the curb, and the fans shrug their shoulders and won't even put in a little effort to stand up for a great player.

I draw a line, and those of you who are fine with how Kampman was treated, paste your name on the left. Those of you who will join me in sticking up for Kampman, paste your name on the right.

Woodson is a savvy vet who did what he did on his own experience and hard work. Seeing someone try to give a chunk of that credit to Dom makes me want to puke...

I don't know why it's so hard for you to see that he bleeds green and gold. Only the true fans have the right to call the rest of Packer nation as a clasless act. We didn't deserve such Packer greats as Javon Walker...

Perhaps if you feel as strongly as you do, feel free to do what you want.

Just don't call those of us who differ from YOUR opinion fake Packer fans, or not loyal, or insensitive.

I have not been here very long, and you certainly came after me, but I do know how to act in public and respect the opinion of others, even if they do not agree with me.

Last time I checked, it is not in the Bible, the Koran, or the U.S. Constitution that life had to be fair.

You have stepped on a few toes here in the short time you have been here...perhaps you need to rethink how you act towards others.

I have simply put my opinions out there, only to be ridiculed and made fun of in reply's to my topics every time. Maybe YOU guys should rethink your attitudes towards new members with ideas different from yours, hot shot... I'm here to contribute my ideas and thoughts, not to join in the lovefest of fans who think Packers' management can do no wrong and get in big group hugs every evening...

No offense in this forum will be tolerated.

You have 33 posts, and almost all of them are disrespectful or with the intention to rile people up.

    Nevermind, saw it.

Are you really seeing the post as comparing you to it? I see it as an EXPRESSION. Because, it is.

But if you feel offended by it, report it, instead of offending. I'll edit it.

The one right above your last post on page 2. I didn't say anything about him being a turd until he already called me one.

Take a look at the post. I edited, with the meaning the expression had.

I'm sorry if you felt offended by it, I didn't pay attention to it.

But when I did, didn't find offense in it. "Feeling as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool" is an expression...

    I editet it, nonetheless...
