Will Farve step aside as a starter or will he selfishly continue to start in order to keep his personal record going, and not help the team to start rebuilding this year?

The question is does McCarthy have the balls to make the change if we're out of reach?

Coaches get the call not the players.

You are right, but does a stop gap coach have the right (in the Packer's fans opinion) to make that call on a hall of fame quarterback?

I don't foresee Rodgers being out best shot at winning any time soon. You play your best players, period. Favre is our best QB.

I think Rodgers will get more playing time is the season wears on but only in games where we have no shot at winning.

The Day MM gives up on a win this year to "help" next year.....I will call for his firing.

Start your best players. Play your best players.

Your obsession with Favre is interesting. How many QB's have the bears started since Favre took over the job?

There.... that ought to keep you busy for awhile.

That is history for the Bears, but the future for the packers. I very much want Farve to QB in the last game of the season/his carrer, an injury at the hands of the Bears will make retiring easier for him.

I'm pretty sure Favre didn't return to sit on the bench, especially when he's better than the alternatives. Future smuture.

IMO Favre wont be out of any games anytime soon, you do play your best players and he is the best!!!

Let Rodgers continue to learn from Brett, wasnt Rodgers something like 7 years old when Favre played his first game in the NFL?? Now he gets to learn from a legend...

He's still only a player, and the coach is the coach, therefore the coach has every right to bench him if he thinks that is for the best.

Too bad it's not for the best. Therefore the point is moo. Huh? A moo point? Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's moo.

    Two very ignorant quotes.

    1. To hope that anyone gets injured shows what you as a person are like. I hope Favre gets hit in the pocket. I then hope he gets up so that we can hit him again.

    2. To lump everyone that roots for the Bears into one class is not a good judgement.

Here is your packer class, my young packer fan:

"The Bears were the defending NFL champions, and they defeated the Packers 25-12 at Green Bay in their first meeting in 1986. For the rematch in Chicago, Packers defensive end Charles Martin wore a towel that had a hit list of Bears players written on it. Quarterback Jim McMahon was at the top of the list.
In the second quarter of the game, Martin proved his list was more than just for inspiration. After McMahon threw a pass, Martin grabbed the quarterback, lifted him in the air, and slammed him to the turf."

This was what happened before puke green and piss yellow was a fashion statement. Here is your teams history, it's class.

I think that says a lot for the class of the Pack if SVH has to go all the way back to 86' to find a shot against them. Makes me proud of the boys in puke green!
BTW Didn't the NFL pass a law that the team with the most championships is allowed to wear any color they want. LOL

Actually the Packers wear those colors because of their deep rooted conection with John Deer.

Yup! gonna drive me a lil lawn mower when I am done wit the bright lights of Green Bay.

Owning a lawn is something of a status symbol in Delaware. We tend to take it for granted, but in a small place like Delaware it means a lot.
