Very disturbing if you are a parent. Keep an eye on your kids at all times, or just dont bring them at all if you know the dangers involved.

Wait, there was a kids festival on the sidelines DURING a football game?

I'm sorry, but whoever made that decision is a freaking retard.

You could hear the kid scream, thankfully he didn't get hurt more seriously.

I saw that on the news yesterday.........plain stupidity! Both the team AND the parents were not using their heads.
Little kids playing on the sidelines while full grown people in protective gear play football. Yup......real genius at work.
Thank god the kid wasn't killed.

Seeing as the outcome wasn't more serious.......I'll say this.
I bet the kid becomes a Vikings fan!
That way he will feel safe being in the endzone, as there's no way a Viking player will ever be there to hurt him!

Now there is a good reason for a pretty frivilous lawsuit.

I saw the kid on TV with his parents and Hill (I think thats his name, the player that bowled the kid over) and the parents said they were thankful that Hill kind of protected the boy when he hit him. He had a split second to react, and i think he did pretty good. If you watch, he jams his left arm against the wall, which i think kept him from mushing the little boy against the wall. Quick thinking on the players part. I think his face mask is what did the damage on the boys head.
