You know you hear all those jokes on how "You can't throw around Darrelle Revis!!!" from all the biased east coast Jet announcers from ESPN, but why do QB's throw to future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson? It does really amaze me, that people still throw to the leading interception receiver this year, after he leads the league in picks.

Because Woodson is IRON MAN!

ron Man is the alter ego of Tony Stark. Stark is the old man of The Avengers and, for a while, didn’t want to be a part of the group. Stark thought he was better as a solo act and felt he didn’t need any help. Even though Woodson signed with the Packers as a free agent he didn’t really want to be in Green Bay. Stark uses technology and intuition to keep up with younger and more vibrant evil doers. Woodson, in his 14th season, uses his experience and football intelligence to disrupt and confuse opposing quarterbacks. As you know, Woodson won NFL Defensive Player of the Year in his 12th season at the age of 34, which clearly gives him the staying power of Tony Stark, Iron Man or anyone else.

Taken from this very cool article about how we are the "Avengers"
