okay what your predictions are is what i see as a minmum. But clearly you are no NFL genius if you think the Dolphins are terrible they have DC and they won 6 straight to end last year. TO me its obvious you are no means an NFL genius. I am not proclaiming myself an expert but clearlly you don't knw that much. You give the Rams, Saints and Eagles the win. Your crazy I GUAREENTEE we win at least 1 of those games and it is possible we win 2. You have us winning 1 divison game, thats crazy i say we win 2-3 which is why i see us winning 8-9 games.

    I''m done with this arguement

Hey... Who was it that said Brett will play this year and two more? Well, to your demise, I found this:

    RIGHT HERE!

    http://www.packerforum.com/index.php?na ... pic&t=4793

Back in March, he wasn't coming back and most of you began to see him for the turd that he really is. Now he's bigger than the Beatles again.

Brett's already said that comment holds no water. So if theres something else that you're trying to prove, please point us to the page because I'm not gonna read through five pages of posts from way back when in order to perceive your point.

    Coming back? He NEVER left!
He plays this year, and he plays next year. After this season he will announce the following will be his last year.

I'm not so sure that you can trust anything Brett tells the media.

I trust what I know about the man and the player and I take into consideration WHAT he says to WHO, believe it or not that matters. Some he's more honest with and some he says whatever to get them out of his face if he's annoyed. (See Charity Golf Tournament)

Look, it's obvious that you don't know much about the man. Were you aware that he was addicted to painkillers before he told the media? I could believe you if you were an actual friend of Favre or you were related to him or something; but really, you don't know anything about Favre aside from football stuff or what you've read in the media. You don't know how he conducts himself in private or with his immediate family.
To assume that you KNOW Favre or know what he's going to do with his career is delusional.

Some of the postings, people were saying they wanted him to make a decision...

I saw some say they wanted him back for sure..

I found one that said he didn't care if Brett was back or not...

A lot of the postings were about TT and what he should have done, if Brett would have announced back in Jan he was done..

The name of the thread was, "If I do play this year, it will be my last."

I know more than you :)
Well aware of his painkiller problem as well as his drinking problem. I don't believe I said I know how he conducts his private life, did I? Where?

For you to assume you know that someone does NOT know something, that's irrationally stupid. You've been a good person to debate with til you started claiming what others do not know.

My knowledge on Brett stems from reading articles, every article that I could find orthat was in front of me, watching every interview, I used to tape some of them so I could watch them again and write my own articles and compare them with the 'expert' writers, I watch him on the field, I watched him in person during training camp, I pay attention to who's asking the questions and how he responds to questions after win/loss and etc etc etc... you get the point.
You could probably say it's an obsession. But I do it in the hopes of getting more knowledgable about that player/person than the media wants known because I do not much care for the media and believe the writers write for the wrong reason, not the passion of the game.

For instance, you can have five articles from the 'expert' media be it NFL.com, Packers.com, Packersnews.com etc and you can bet there will be errors pertaining to factual information or misleading information to get the reader to sway to the pereception of the writer. I don't agree with that. I believe you lay everything out on the line, state your opinion but give unbiased information, the whole information.

With that said. You being a Lions fan, I can bet I know more about Brett Lorenzo Favre then you do.

I know the thread, I read all the pages...I did not see how those postings claim that the people saw him for the "turd" that he is, or so you say...

That's my point. When you thought he was retiring, some of you were starting to see that Favre is on a severe downslope. When he looked like he was ready to give it another go, he was forgiven and the Favre machine started back up.

Sure... I'm fairly positive that only Brett and his family know what he's going to do after this year. Brett has always been cautious about the media, and I don't think he's going to tell anyone anything accurate right now. He's still got a whole camp, preseason, and season to worry about.
So, like I said, unless you're a family member or a close friend, you really don't know crap. Sure, you've read tons of interviews. But what's Favre's record with interviews and the media? Yeah, that's what I thought.
You didn't know he was hooked on painkillers until he told the media. You won't know when he retires until he does.

    This was YOUR quote

"Back in March, he wasn't coming back and most of you began to see him for the turd that he really is. Now he's bigger than the Beatles again."

So to me MOST means over 50%, there 6 pages on that topic...

2 = most in your world?

2 back in March is a greater number than the current 0 that think he should retire now on this board. How many people didn't post because of the pro-Favre trolls?

So now that his retirement is on back burner, the ONE person who really didnt care either way should still post that he should retire...

We go from MOST to ONE...

See what I am getting at here?

Take it up with that ONE poster on if he changed his tune, but dont lump the most into that category..
