Youve demonstrated nothing you quoted an article which does nothing to prove your point. lol news flash Scams are unethical!!!! You guys make me laugh I digress though ignorance must truly be bliss
How old are you? Do you understand the history of our franchise? If we were selling paper for $250, we'd be frigging stupid to only do it every few decades, wouldn't we? Why not just give it a UPC and stick it up year-round in the pro shop? So which is it, are we dastardly mustache-twisters, or are we morons? Tell us, oh New York single-owner franchise genius who apparently has no idea how long the Packers have been structured this way. I know a lawyer who isn't even a Packer fan who bought stock, so he could be an NFL owner. But you're smarter, boxing at imaginary "scam" shadows. You G-boys are something else. It's a miracle my eyes haven't rolled out of my head this week.
LOL not a scam...Sorry regulated by FCC And they didnt comment because it was still be legalized to offer the sale
I bet there are some Giant fans that bought some.. I know some Cowboy fans, Bucs fans, hell I bet a fan from every team bought some
Ignorance is bliss, unfortunately stupidity is not. Let me break it down for you: A scam is defined as "A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle."Fraud is defined as "1. A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain. 2. A piece of trickery; a trick"Here is a link to the "stock" offering http://packersowner.com/ If you will read the stock offering you will see that it specifically says it is not a "stock" offering in the common sense of the term. In Wisconsin they teach us how to read (I may live in Indiana, but I grew up in Wisconsin) and to think so we know that it is not "stock" in the common sense of that term and there is, therefore no deception, deliberate or otherwise, and thus no "scam" as much as you would like to insist that there is.Here is a link to the "Offering Document" (http://packersowner.com/) which, if you will read it, explains that the purpose of the "stock" is to raise money for stadium renovations. Therefore, AGAIN, there is no scam. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has also signed off on the fact that appropriate disclosures have been made and it is not, therefore, a scam. If a bunch of bureaucrats in Washington can figure this out I should think you could as well. So either you really are that ignorant (more ignorant that you accuse us of being) or you are simply being obstreperous. The Stock issue is a red herring you seem to want to beat to death. It is what it is, and those who bought it (who are the ones who should be complaining if anyone does) knew what they were buying.
I don't mean to be stupid but I've been reading this thread and I honestly can't comprehend this guy's argument for it being a scam. I try very hard to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and look at everything from both sides, but I'm sorry to say, I don't see this guy's point. It appears to me either he's lost interest in critiquing the game and has reduced himself to making petty argument to get under our skin. I'm not even going to begin to refute his argument because of a complete lack of an argument presented on his part. I understand on some level his cause, but fail to see anything to support it. That's not ignorance, that's just facts. If he can manage to present us with irrefutable evidence or at least probable cause, then maybe I'll give it some consideration. But for now, I just think he's blowing smoke.
Guys, there are NYG fans posting here because of the game tomorrow. Few if any of them are trolls. Yet we keep hearing BS from some of you guys about not liking us. I suggest some civility -- this is just football.
I only have issues with the ones that do not give our offense line and team respect.. No matter who you play, to be 15-1 have to be somewhat good
Merged into an already existing thread. I feel like a broken record saying this over and over. I know and respect why you guys are here. I understand not all of you are trolls and you have come to discuss football, but understand you are on enemy territory in the middle of a war, if that makes any sense. Us Packers fans are trying very hard to be civil to you and represent our team, some are better at it than others but lets give both fan bases their respect. You can't reasonably expect us to want to be warm and fuzzy with you guys but I think there needs to be some level of respect even if we don't see eye to eye. So lets lay down some ground rules shall we: NO name calling or personal attacks as per our forum rules. There is no need for that and we are both above such childish behavior. Try and respect each others opinions even if they differ from yours. Remember that if not for football, most of us would probably be friends. As NYG said, this is just football. I think sometimes we need to remember that. This is going to be over rather quickly. Somebody is going to be exalted and somebody is going to be devastated. Hopefully we can respect one another's feelings and congratulate the winner.
Well then you havent seen the posts I have.. All we see is how your DL is healthy and playing lights out... Any mention our our OL finally being healthy and back since week 3, is not taken seriously
Of course it is . . . ignore the morons. We know GB will show up tomorrow - - and so will the NYG. When I read a post from a NYG fan that is simply homering, I ignore it. BTW -- NYG message boards have, indeed, gone to crap the last few years. Not true here.
I just hope either way the winning fan base shows respect.. I expect some trash talking by the winners..But dont want it to get ugly
