Well thats the conspiracy/betrayal their talking about, get Manning at the training ground to scare Smith into signing. But i think thats baloney, sign Manning even if hes half fit hes better than Smith.

Sounds like Alex should go sign with Seattle and "Stick it" to the Niners??

Yes exactly! thats what they saying aswell, although its Alex Smith we are talking about. Hes not really in Joe Montana's league in the stick it to the niners department, but who knows.

Do you think the Brett fans are sick of the Manning watch??

Or do you think that they finally understand how annoying it is?

Many are saying it's the Titans. Wife is from TN. Went to college there and still adored. Heck his best friend is Kenny Chesney.

Who knows, we will see soon.

But, the newest rumblings are TN.

      Tenn is my guess too

I originally said a dome team, (Minny)

But a warmer weather team is next best thing..

He already has a house in TN but might need a bigger one now since the twins are here now.

Also has been said he gave Titans fans the thumbs up sign as he got in his car the other night.

Only major suckage? Plays the Colts twice a year. Oh well. I can't imagine too much hostility towards him, really. This isn't like Favre and the Colts are rebuilding.

Getting very interesting with the Niners. Alex Smith is reportedly meeting with the Dolphins now. Also found out Smith and Peyton have the same agent. Niners just landed Manningham as well.

I hope manning comes to denver, the non bronco fans out here need some relief from tebowmania. At least with manningmania it was earned.

I can't help but feel in my gut that Harbaugh is screwing things up here a bit. I loved what they were doing last year. A true TEAM I felt.

The Moss signing made me scratch my head.

Now Alex Smith sounds pissed and I would lmao if the Niners don't get Manning or even Smith back now.

Harbaugh is sorta letting me down a bit here.

Many are on the "ZOMG if the Niners get Manning it's instant Super Bowl". It looks good on paper but I am not sure it is going to work if it happened.

SF needs to watch what they are doing or they are going to lose Smith in the process of entertaining Manning. I can't blame Smith one bit for looking elsewhere.

Worst case scenario for them Jim Harbaugh at QB Colin Kapernick backup? lol

Smitty has done ok from the 9ers they have not exactly made him poor from his time there, he rejected their offer so i havent much sympathy for him. He might do better somewhere else.

Not sure if it's true but incarceratedbob was right on Peyton having surgery again and missing last season a few weeks before it even happened and before the media found out.

He is not always right though.

      Yep.

The Broncos/Niners/Titans forums are a riot lately. Especially the Broncos one. The Colts forum is not far behind at times.

In fact this offseason I swear I have never seen so many sign up at the Colts forums with "sources."

      This is the latest:

Are the Broncos off their rockers? Why the hell do they need Manning, what about Tebow? Why would they give up a potential franchise QB, and yes, I know I am going to get my tail pulled but you can't deny Tebow has talent no matter what you think of him? I could see Manning going to a team that is in desperate need of a QB. Manning has already caused Alex Smith to start to reconsider the 49ers. Now Tebow looks like he is going to be displaced by Manning. I think the Broncos are really shooting themselves in the foot with this move. Once again, taking one step forward and two steps back. Where are they going to be in say a two year max window when Manning either doesn't perform on the field the way the Broncos expect (or hope) or decides to retire. They will be back to square one looking for a QB. Meanwhile Tebow will be set with another team. If this goes down, I hope Tebow haunts the hell out of the Broncos for many years to come. I think they will profoundly regret this decision and sooner rather than later.
