Oh yeah baby how sweet it is!!!!! This is almost as sweet as a Packer victory actually it is. I loved seeing these guys fall from grace and finally get whats coming to them. 4th and 26, Packersacker54 and other bear fans wil be hiding tell September I suppose. Da Bears still suck and I love it! It was just like watching a packer game. I was rooting so hard against the bears cause I hate them so much. I loved seeing Urlacher almost in tears after the game and nice game Rex. They should have given the super bowl MVP trophy to Grossman for his great play that benefited the colts victory. :rotflmao:

I am not going to run and hide. I came here after they lost last year and that was one and done.
They lost and that is that. Soak it up.
You can take a lot of pleasure in the Bears losing because the Packers are not very good so I understand.
Which team is closer to going to the Super Bowl in 2007? The Bears or the Packers?
If you say the Packers and really believe that then you don’t know anything about football anyway so how much is your opinion going to matter to me anyway?

Hey Phil, any news on Lovie's contract extension?

    Is it a done deal?

I don't know but he was out coached in last years lose to the Panthers and the same thing happened tonight.
He is a good coach but he is stubborn to a fault.
You have to adjust to the game as it is being played and he does not do that.

Some real adjustments at the half could have won this game and he did not even try to do that. That is what pisses me off. This was not a blow out but more of a coma.

You know whats funny, I've got the same complaint with McCarthy. There just seem to be no adjustments in halftime.....

    That will drive you crazy.
If I did not shave my head a few days ago I would have been pulling my hair out. How do these guys not see what is going on?

With a projected $26 million to spend under the cap the Bears are in good shape. They are very young on the defensive side of the ball and will have Tommie Harris and Mike Brown coming back.
They need to draft someone for the offense line because that is where they are the oldest.
They have the players to win it all but I want a real QB. Unless Grossman has a light go off in his head then he is not the one and he showed that tonight.

I would love to see the situation between the Eagles and McNabb got to the point that they let him go. He is from Chicago and really wanted to play here in the first place.

Too many beers so I am done.

I wonder if old Grizzly and sweet valley high will be posting on here now. I imagine they will be pretty quiet from now on.

I'm almost certain Lovie will get his contract extended, but if he doesn't we're going to have to listen to this **** about the NFL still being racist against black coaches for months.

Packersacker has ALWAYS been cool to me. The guy talks smack, but shows CLASS. I have NO problem with him!
If he came here, i'd tell him how honestly sorry i was that his team lost.
Oh.....and 4th and 26 has been pretty cool too! He talks smack, but has fun with it and has been cool!

For those that were rude, and nasty, i'd say "PPPPFFT!!!!" to you!

Much to drunk and po'd for internet last night. I am here to take my lumps. However, unless you are a colts fan, it won't make a difference to me...

I would have to agree with Rex being MVP for the colts. I have heard some sports shows putting some blame on the bears d, but that is stupid. Manning is the best qb of this era. Of course he is going to put up points. The O totally failed.

I'm not gonna beat up on ya! You have shown a great attitude, and have been respectful!
I keep the way people are in my memory banks, and try to respond accordingly.
And you are right, the O ("Wrecks") didn't do much to help your team.
I was surprised how the Bears D got run over by the Colts RB's though. Especially towards the end of the game, when the Bears knew the Colts were gonna run to keep the clock running. You can say "the D was tired", but the Colts offense was out there the whole time too. They had to be pretty tired too.

Awww... don't be such a sore loser. Instead come back with some more comments about how the Packers weren't in the playoffs this year. Because even after reading that 3,020,329 times. IT NEVER GETS OLD!

btw, drop Rex, win SB .. plain an simple

    Do you really believe that?

Would you say that the Bears and the Packers seasons were equal because of not winning the SB?

Agreed, the ultimate goal is to win the SB. But, to do that, there are a number of steps moving toward that goal which must be achieved. Win the division, secure home field in the Playoffs, win in the playoffs, make it to the SB, and ultimately win the SB.

From your logic, the Packers have failed since '96. I would disagree with that. They won the division many times. They played in the playoffs. They were a good football team. Times were good for the Packers. Times have changed.

I think we mis-read his post.
He was thanking us for our "INSANE logic"..............then said "I hope the meds work".
The LAST statement was him talking to himself, like, "god.....i hope the meds work, so i can deal with the reality that my team LOST the Super Bowl!"

Truth is, very few people remember who LOST the Super Bowl. They only remember who won.
The Bears had a decent season, for sure. I think that considering the Packers had a make shift O line, and most people thought another 4-12 season was assured, the Packers far exceded expectations by finishing strong and 8-8. I think the Packers season, with all the considerations, was a decent season too. Did they do as good as the Bears? No, but i think the Packers are on the upswing. I think the Bears went as far as they can go with what they have (Rex). If the Packers pick up a few players, i honestly feel they can compete with the Bears next year. I think too many Bears fans think because Brett is "old", he can't do it anymore. Give him the few pieces he needs, and i think he CAN get it done.
Time of course will tell if i'm right or wrong.
