I was agreeing with you Carl ...and found it pretty funny that somebody would question how a team could get a higher pick than they drafted a guy when that's what happened with brent favrrint.

True, but the Seahawks highly overpaid for him once he became he free agent because of what he did in 2010 and 2011.

Jon Schriender was around when Flynn was here..So he had a feeling about him, but the NE Pat game didnt hurt

Yet he still was traded for a 1st rounder because of talent. Teams do desperate things for QBs.

Yeah, but that happened during a different era in the NFL when teams weren't able to sign free agents. It although helped the Falcons that the 1992 draft didn't feature any franchise QBs (with Jeff Blake and Brad Johnson turning out to become the best of the group).

BTW the only backup QB that was traded for a first round pick since 1993 (start of free agency) is Rob Johnson in 1998, so it hasn't happened in 16 years.

Are you Mad? If TT did that to Rodgers their will be much hell in GB. That would be very very very VERY bad PR move if they did that to Rodgers. Rodgers wont flip flop on retirement like Favre. Rodgers still has many more years left in him.
