When did you start noticing Clay Matthews?

I just watched the Bears Vs. Packers from week 1 of the 2009 season and the Steelers from week 15.

In week 1, CM was hardly made a difference. He wasn't even a starter.

However, in the Steeler's game, at that point he was noticeably present.

This was the year it was all about Charles Woodson.

But I don't remember when I first started paying attention Clay.

Does anybody remember? Was it a game? A play?

No idea, good question. I do remember him in the Steeler game, but I don't think that was the first time I noticed. The hair made him stick out whenever he was on the field and he did have that multi-sack game against the Lions early in the year.

I remember watching a game on TV his senior year at USC. Can't remember who they were playing but he lit some running back up.

I remember him when he started "starting" at USC. Kid was a beast then just as he is a beast now...

Great pickup in the draft FOR SURE!

When he was at USC. That LB corps was the thing to watch on that team when he was there. Matthews, Cushing, Maualuga, and Maiava were one of the better LB groups in recent memory.
