Portman has been nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Black Swan.

I watched 3 movies yesterday.. I had a lazy day off lol...

6/10.. It was okay. I expected more of a political thriller, but there wasn't much thrilling about it. I realize it's a true story, but it didn't hold my attention quite like I thought it would. Good acting though I wish there was more character development. Worth a watch.

7/10. I rarely watch comedies. I thought The Hangover was one of the most overrated movies of the decade But I am a fan of Downey, Jr, so I decided to watch it. 1 word.. Hilarious.

8/10. This remake is miles better than the old one. Very creepy and stomach cringing. This movie pushes the limits (whatever they are) of what you can see in a movie.. infact I don't know what American made movie is worse.. Oh and the acting was decent.. If you can handle all out torture movies, then I'd watch this..

I got my copy of After Hours yesterday and then I watched it late after hours. (Only fitting.)

Great, funny and surreal. Check it out if you haven't yet.

    Just watched The Illustrated Man.
Based on the book by Ray Bradbury.
The tattoo makeup was really cool.
The flashback scenes and the story parts were good.
However the interaction between the Illustrated Man and the traveler were just lame and weird.

OK there's two movies with Repo as the first word.

There is Repo Man. (A very bizarre movie with Emilio Estevez from the 80's.)
    Repo Man (1984) - IMDb
And Repo Men which is more recent.
    Repo Men (2010) - IMDb

I'm not getting on anyone for misspelling because that is easy to mistake with one vowel difference.
Just want to make sure we all understand which movie it is.

    "Oh God!"

(That is not suggested dialog to what Debbie would say in regards to the above post. It really is the last movie I watched since my dvd copy arrived yesterday. Yay!)

Saw both Faster (2010) and Hot Fuzz (2007) yesterday.

    Faster was crap. Just awful.

Hot Fuzz is as hilarious as ever, if not a bit long.

I have, got rid of it after about 6 months though. There isn't that much on it that interested me, sadly enough.

    Paris Texas.

    Don't bother.
    Super super boring.
Watching paint dry and grass grow is more exciting than this piece of junk.
I fell asleep to it, then made the mistake of watching what I missed. I had to FF to try and get to parts that would be interesting.
I prefer movies that rely on good ol' acting. But this one was just too slooooooow and boooooooorrrrrrring.
Plus the ending really really sucked.
The dude ends up leaving his wife and child. Again. Right when you think he might get back together with them.
