Knight and day. I liked it a lot. It's really a spy movie, in the sense that Tom Cruise's character can do preposturous things, while keeping his sunglasses in perfect state. But it's a good movie.

No, Are you the one that said I assume everyone has seen Star Wars? No to that.

That question reminds me of the the time I was watching so called comedian Bill Maher commenting on a movie actor that had a personal sex homemade movie appear on utube..Maher says "Hey, what's the big deal, we all have had ourselves filmed having sex." Complete silence from his guests,,,cut to commercial. I just don't watch movies, I read novels.

Maybe start a thread on the last good novel you read.

    BLACK SWAN (2010)

One of the best movies I've seen in awhile. Just like books, don't judge this by its cover. It's by a proven director and has a great cast. The movie is perfect an I'm officially on the Natalie Portman bandwagon.

Kitten, no matter how good Secretariat is, the book "Seabiscuit"
(10x better than the movie) wins by 10 lengths.

went and saw Black Swan last night. i was blown away. ive seen some of the directors past films and this movie does not disappoint. absolutely awesome.

it was one of the strangest yet most thought provoking movies ive ever seen. it literally delayed me falling asleep for at least 2 hours last night because i was simply laying there theorizing about what i just saw. awesome film. definitely recommend it!

What did you think of Natalie's performance? lol I always thought she was an average actress til now. She's a lock for an oscar IMO.. hence my signature.

Oscar worthy. she played her role phenomenally. couldnt, and still cant picture any actress that could have done better. feel like that role fit her perfect and she nailed it.

Watched The Town on DVD last night, and saw The Social Network at the cheap seats this past weekend.

Both were as good as they were hyped to be, and i would recommend both.

    7/10

I'm not sure if it cracked my top 10 of 2010 or not. It's worth a watch, but I wouldn't see it again. It's got all kinds of great reviews and I can see why, it's just not my type of thing. **spoilers** I thought the flashbacks (there were a ton of them) were overdone.

I'm actually really intrigued by that character. I read the iMDB about it while watching the movie and it turns out the Coen brothers wanted to get some guy who was unheard of so that he wasn't associated with anything else and will forever be remembered for that character. He did a great job, plays a haunting character, and he won an Oscar for it.
