Also had to explain why the Black trucker was in jail with all the cuts and bruises. That was tough since a rural Christian school does not really prepare preteens for bigotry.

I recently watched Gilbert Grape. Johnny Depp & Leonardo DiCaprio. An older movie but very touching. Two of my favorite actors. It's a chick flick but it will tug at the heart strings of anyone who has a heart.

Just watched Heat again for the first time in a few years. Best heist movie ever. DeNiro is the bomb in that movie.

Black Swan was the best movie I've seen in the last year for sure. Great flick. Extremely creepy.

I see I haven't posted it yet, but I saw 2 great movies:

Super 8 was awesome, as Entertainment Weekly said, giving it an A and calling it one of the best movies in years.

And I just saw Soul Surfer for the 2nd time this week and it also was fantastic and had me (slightly) crying 3 times even watching it a 2nd time. Fantastic actors young and old, and a great story with a lot of lessons. And a true ***** story to boot!

Has anyone seen Horrible Bosses yet?
    That's next on my list.

I have the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS. Amazing the number of different scenes between them and the latest DVD incarnations. No Jabba in the original movie, it wasn't episode 4, & Vader after death was a different actor.
