Similar to the music thread, if you watched a movie, tell us about it.

I watched Zombieland tonight. 2 things:

    A) Emma Stone is insanely hot. Good freaking lord. It was almost distracting. And she doesn't do anything hot in the movie. Just wears a t-shirt and jeans.

    B) This might be one of the most fun movies I have ever seen. From the zombie killing, to the comedy, to the totally out of left field celebrity cameo, I can't remember a movie that was this much fun. Woody Harrelson is fantastic in it. Insane, but fantastic. "You got a purdy mouth."

    Your turn.

First off I just wanna say, movies are my first passion, the Packers are my second.

Das weisse Band - Eine deutsche Kindergeschichte
(The White Ribbon) (2009) Das weisse Band - Eine deutsche Kindergeschichte (2009)

    1. It's a Austrian film up for 2 nominations for the upcoming Oscars. One being best Foreign Language film, and the other Cinematography.

    2. It's close for my favorite film of 2009 with Inglourious Basterds being the only other movie I really LOVED. I guess it's coincidence that both films have to do with Nazis and "pre-Nazis".

    3. From the same director as Funny Games (2007). One of the most truly shocking and unsettling films I've seen. The other is Hard Candy (2005). I also recommend this one if you can't handle subtitled movies.

Do we have to wait for others to post before we can post again? Cause if I have nothing else going on, I can watch up to 3 movies per night no problem...

Zombieland was awesome!! I knew right from the beginning it was going to be good (they played a kickass Metallica song lol). And yea, pretty much whatever Emma Stone did in that movie was hotttt :)

In other news, I just finished watching Public Enemies. Man I love that movie. And I really really enjoy the soundtrack as well. Good stuff.

Watched Zombieland and Funny People this last weekend. Both were really good movies. I have Public Enemies coming from Netflix this week. Pretty excited to see that one.

I liked it a lot. It was suffering from a lack of a plot, but overall I liked it. Good acting....Johnny Depp was a badass. I'd watch it again.

Johnny Depp is badass in all his movies.

As my avatar points out, the last movie I saw was The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. One of my absolute favorites.

That was a great movie. I bought in on DVD a year ago and I love Brad Pitt in that movie. Johnny Depp was not a badass in Willy Wonka or Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Or Chocolat. LOL

Yea that movie was epic, to say the least. I had to go to a pretty much abandoned movie theater when it came out on the big screen. There was probably only about 15 people there with us watching it lol. Such a good movie though.

I wasn't that impressed by Shutter Island. Scorcese should only be allowed to make mob movies. Also he needs to start using an actor other than Leo.

Did you just compare DiCarprio to Bart Starr??? Hahahahaha. Are you an 18 year old girl? You must have really liked Basketball Diaries or something. Jesus Christ.

The Aviator was a festering turd of a movie, and Gangs of New York would have sucked without Daniel Day Lewis. Departed (mob movie) -- great flick. Casino -- great, Goodfellas -- great, Mean Streets -- great, Taxi Driver -- great. Last Temptation of Christ....horrid.

Scorcese needs to stick with what he's good at.

Zombieland was a great film and yes.....Emma Stone is unbelievably hot. She's gotten wayyyyyy hotter since she was in Superbad. Good Lord.

I just watched Law Abiding Citizen....good flick. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Wow its just an opinion, do you have to attack everything I say with demeaning comments? I wish people on here showed more maturity. Its kind of pathetic that certain people waste their time on here picking fights with people and ruining what could be a great forum.

I liked Aviator personally and so did the Academy Awards and Golden Globes. That was a great year for movies.
