What? Not pork chops and applesauce? That would have been swell.

(Sorry, I must apologize for my inability to forget my childhood recollection of Bobby Brady trying to develop a personality on The Brady Bunch)

I haven't had time to get on since the other day when we had:
venison loin roast (harvested by my 14 year old last season), homegrown watermelon (first one I ever harvested), cucumber salad, summer squash, acorn squash, swiss chard and baked carrots all from the garden. Cheese curds from the factory up the road and apple cider from the orchard a few miles away.

That sounds delicious. I'm having red wine. Is that a cross-over to the "what are you drinking right now" thread?

I thought it was good - very overpriced, but good. I got the chicken sandwich and we went during happy hour so half price drinks and $6 appetizers.

Tomorrow I am going out to eat in Green Bay! No idea where yet, but I'm looking forward to being back in the good 'ol 920.
