When the weekend wraps up and the Giants fans magically disappear from this board...who will we bombarded by? do you think the 9ers will pull off an upset and send their fans spewing on this board like diaeria on a porcelain sink?:poop:

(mods, please don't move this to trash talk section...but if you must, you must :whistling: )

It's going to depend on the outcome of the Giants game. If we win, it'll be whoever wins the Saints/ 49'ers game. If we lose, we might be dealing with these Giants fans for some time.

can't speak for us all. but 4 years ago, I participated for a week, then came back the following week, not to gloat, but to talk about the game.. I will do so this time too... to either offer congrats or accept them, all in a good natured sportsmanship. I read a lot more here than participate.. I like the links to good articles and the packer fan persepctive

i have a lot more faith in this team than the one who barely won the laughing-stock NFC East.

Even though you barely beat that same "laughing stock" of a team who was badly injured?

I'll keep hanging around this board since the Vikes are out of it. I don't know what brings me here in the first place, maybe I just like to listen to Cheeseheads. That's not good.

We have a separate forum on here for smack talk. We want to keep the Packer Fan Forum free of smack and keep it focused on facts.

This argument can be negated easily. The Packers also had injuries at the time. Offensive linemen as well as some guys on D. Losing Clifton, Bulaga and Collins hurt us severely. So you can make a case that both teams had injuries and we are right back where we started. But remember, an injured Packers team beat an injured Giants team. Hopefully now, with both teams at or near to full strength, we may see a very different game. But I warn you, if the Packers beat you even with both teams wounded, I don't think it's going to be any easier for you guys playing with both teams healthy.

I don't need a warning; I know how good the Packers are just like the Giants do. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around how people here think this will be a cake-walk for the Packers. I think I speak on behalf of most Giants fans when I say that the Giants definitely weren't expected to be here. I do think that the momentum should be respected, just as I believe the revitalization of out running game should be noted as a difference.

Just like how G fans think its a cake walk..I have seen some serious real big cockiness from some of your partners..

I dont know the amount, but I think we have a fair amount of fans giving the Giants a ton of respect, and that # is cut in half for the respect the G fans are giving us...

I also am worried as hell our def is going to have issues with your passing game...that might just be the way you win..

Issue is, we are being shoved down our throats how your d-l is healthy and ready...Yet no one wants to talk about our healthy o-l

That's the Packers weakness, defense. With that being said, you guys generate a hell of a lot of turnovers. High risk high reward scenario I guess. I think a lot of this game hinges on Hawk/Raji's ability to stuff the run to be honest. If Jacobs/Bradshaw get going and keep Rodgers off of the field that could spell danger for GB. I'd take our well rested D-Line over your well rested O-Line in a trench war at that point, but Rodgers is Rodgers, he's simply amazing and can make things happen no matter what obstacles are in his way.

That is the crux of my argument. I think our O-Line will eventually overwhelm their D.

Lord.... I feel as if I've made this point in at least 8 different threads... :p

You have to win first before that happens. In 08 I don't think I came back after we won, but with that said, if we do lose I will be back.

You show your character by keeping your promises and how you act when times are tough and/or you are down. If I do comeback I hope its because of a win, if not so be it!

Good question. The Saints are about due for one of their subpar games. We all know they do NOT like to go to the west coast for a playofff game! Even Seattle could beat them there.

Besides, you KNOW Aaron would like nothing better than to kick an Alex Smith led team's butt!
