Not resigning Jennings, letting Bishop go, and some of the other non-FA moves were done to keep the likes of Cobb and others on this team. I'm still hoping that Cobb turns out to be better than Harvin. If anything, he intially landed on a much better team than Percy which gave him a better opportunity to blossom

Yes his contract will definitely play a part in cobbs. I think that's the top of the market but who knows by the time they start talking numbers
