Seriously, what team out there is a superbowl team except it is missing one piece, a quarterback?

Most contending teams have solid quarterbacks.

So which teams?

Miami is really the only candidate I can see and they are no better than GB (and in a tougher division).

I'm guessing if GB really wanted to deal Brett, they could get a 5th from a team like Miami. Although, if I were them, I would rather have a guy like Trent Green than Brett. He's atleast seen a QB rating north of 73 in the past few seasons and seems like a much better teammate.

i think the question should be what team would not want him.

Colts
Saints
Seahawks
Rams
Cardinals
Texans
Steelers...well...I dunno, Ben is struggling since the SB.
Patriots
Titans
Jets
Chargers
Cowboys
Giants

the only teams that I realistically see is Jaguars, Bucs, and the Falcons (vick is so out of town after this year).

Remember to factor in Favres salary when answering the question. Unless Brett would renegotiate for much less money, I doubt that many teams will be interested in him at his current contract.

How about the Redskins?

They've got a great coach, pro-bowl talent at RB, solid WRs, and a good Defence + DC.

Plus it's Dan Snyder... he'll be someone who wouldn't mind Brett's pricetag given their recent struggles at QB (great point BTW 4th).

The bears? Do you think they're trade him within the same conference?

Kansas city is the best spot for him in my opinion.
Good TE, Great RB, Dwayne Bowe is fresh talent.

I think we would all be surprised who would want Brett, hes tough, strong and he still has a few great years left maybe more. I think all teams would want him.

I don't know if the Chiefs really need to go nutz on finding a QB. Damon Huard played pretty well last year after Trent Green went down, so it wouldn't suprise me if he was the starter going into '07.

They also drafted Brodie Croyle in the 3rd round in '06, so there's always a chance he might contend to start.

Brett Favre has said he is staying in Green Bay, so why waste any time speculating the on the poised question of this topic

What a waste of space on this forum. Brett isn't going anywhere, just another thread started to cause argument and kaos.
Doesn't surprise me who the author is.

Hey Buckeye, just because you find a post two days later doesn't mean it wasn't a valid question at the time. When this was posted, it was a legit question as all we knew at that point was the #4 wanted to be traded.

As for your question (and it's a good one) about the GMs, I'm not familiar enough with other teams well enough to know their GM needs. So I would be interested to read others replies. You might want to consider starting a new topic with it.
