In your opinion, what team could the NFL do without if they had to eliminate one team?

    Carolina and Jacksonville.

Neither team was needed back when they expanded.

I'd love to see the Vikings out...but in all reality probably Jacksonville or Buffalo.

The Jaguars. The Bills have one of the best fan bases in the NFL, why in hell would we get rid of them? If we are basing this on which teams suck, the Lions should be long gone.

Any one (or one of each) of the New York team or Florida teams. Far too man teams in each of those states. I'd go with Jax for Florida and Buffalo for NY. If not eliminate, maybe transfer the team to a city that doesn't have a team close by. Maine doesn't have a team, but then again, they'd have to find another field to play unless they want to be sitting in 7 feet of snow during the winter games.

I don't understand why people think Buffalo should go. They're a profitable team, last week was the first game that hadn't sold out since 2004. There are quite a few other teams that should go first.

That's a good point. Incubes! I'm changing the NY team I picked to eliminate to The Jets!!! Too many teams in NY! They share a field with The Giants anyway, why do we need a NY Jets and a NY Giants? One should go.

Supposedly one represents the city and one represents the state. I'm not sure which, thought I'd guess the Giants are state and the Jets are city. I have a lot of downstate friends who are Jets fans.

Dallas Cowboys. They already have the Houston Texans anyway. Hawaii Cowboys has a better zing to it.

That logic would eliminate the Eagles! ;) Unless you are counting their pre-SB existence championship.

I'd say Jacksonville. C'Mon, Flordia doesn't need 3 freaking teams. California I can understand, But Florida? C'mon Man.

I really feel bad for the Bills fans, they are great fans but a stupid owner continues to think that fan support is a given and doesn't bother to build a winning team (probably the reason the packers usually don't have to many long playoff droughts, we don't have a greedy owner taking advantage of fan loyalty.)

Back to the topic of this post, the vikes are a disgrace to the NFL and i wouldn't shed a tear if they dissolved or moved to LA.

I agree NY doesn't need two teams in one city but they are both well established as New York teams, how would you decide which one goes and which one stays?

I don't have too much of an issue with the Jets/Giants since there is AFC and NFC difference and the fact they can share a stadium helps. First we can't really cut a team right now, everything is too even. I think we should move the Vikings and Jaguars. Jacksonville Jaguars shot themselves in the foot by not drafting Tebow, just the marketability of the guy down there would have helped them survive and move them to L.A. Or just have the Vikings move to L.A. and we can accept the Rams in our division.

Or just cut the Cardinals and give Pottsville their championship and a pro football team. :happy0005: Yeah it would be too many teams in Pennsylvania but on the bright side another small town team.

Haha, nope, I'm well aware that Buffalo is in NY. I was referring to NYC. Besides what does it matter whether or not a state has more than one team as long as the fans are still supporting the team and buying out games?

Because that would be considered hoarding teams, LOL! I just think states that have 3 teams should have at least one of them relocated to an area that doesn't have a team close by. 2 teams is not so bad, but I find 3 to be a bit ridiculous.

The New Jersey Jets. The NY Giants. The Buffalo Bills.

Bills can't go because they have a solid fan base, unfortunately when Ron Wilson leaves I feel the Bills will either be moved or dismantled.

Of Course. It was still football back then and some of the sport's greatest stars came from those years.

The fact that smeagols have not won the superbowl is thast it brings with it a ring.:)
