    And I know ripping on Rex Grossman is fun because it's very easy to do. I still support him because he's the Bears QB and I think he's capable of doing very well. However, I think it might be time to call up Orton, atleast he's capable of leading a team down the field.

    One year ago this week, I pleaded for Griese to QB the bears. They had a very good defense, and a respectable offense. All they needed was someone to not make mistakes (see also Orton, 2005). A quote from Lovie Smith "Rex is our quarterback".

    Jump forward to todays Packerforum.com.

    PLease put in Griese. He needs work with the first string. The defense is better than last year. The offense has 2 of the fastest receivers in the NFL (according to SI). A high round draft pick at RB, and special teams that can score 7 at any time. PUT IN GRIESE.

    I suppose that come week 1, I will be backing Grossman, which I will do - "Rex is our quarterback". Hopefully this year he proves me wrong for the entire year, not just the first third.

    Let's face it. If you put in Griese and all goes well what will Bear fans bitch about?

    It is completely against bear fan policy not to bitch about something!!! At least Gross Man gives them that outlet.
