I don't typically drink, but after the most horrible Friday of my life (one of my students killed himself Thursday night), I needed something on Friday. So I had this Bloody Mary that had, apart from the normal stuff, cheese and a beef stick. It was so good.

The other teacher I work with said it was baptism by force (it's my first semester teaching). Welcome to special ed... (I'm making a horrible attempt at wry humor right now - I've been a mess this weekend).

On a positive note, though, that drink was really good...

We all deal with things differently,..the main thing is that we deal with it.

Sorry your having such a bad weekend.

I've not had much of a taste for bloody mary's..but cheese and beef just make it better!

Cheese and beef stick IN the drink or with it? I can imagine the beef stick but not the cheese.

At this moment, I am savoring a fantastic cup of coffee, roasted by our very own @neilfii. This is very yummy.
If you enjoy your morning cup of joe, maybe you'd like to see what @neilfii could roast up for you. :D

Ewww, on purpose or to win a bet? I've tried soy milk and could never cotton to it. Gimmee that colonoscopy prep drink anytime before that. Short of a medical reason, I don't see it in my future.

Southern Comfort / Pernod (anise) / Triple Sec and 100% Pomegranant Juice over ice. Pretty damn good! I think i will try and shake this for some friends this weekend. (Use 2 dashes of Pernod or it will over power the drink!)

Southern Comfort ....another thing that makes me shudder!!!

I was 14 and drank a full tumbler full on a dare..... I thought I was going to die! (really could of, but thankfully the human body was designed to expel toxins quickly!!!!)

Why do we do stupid things when dared by someone?!?!?

    (love your siggy pic kilrb!)

Leinies 1888 Bock. If God didn't want us to drink cow milk, He wouldn't have allowed pizza or cheese curds.

LOL! That same reason might be why I hate budwieser beer! I think I was 12 though and was praying for death!

Worse yet you could have chugged a tumbler of Pernod! Really powerful and aromatic taste would be with you for ever!
