First let's start out with my pick of the only North division team that will win in week one.

    Falcons 13
    Vikings 31

Look for an unbelievable opening for Adrian Peterson....2TD's 142 yards rushing.

    Lions 21
    Raiders 28

Calvin Johnson for the lions is the real deal, 2 TD's
Raiders will not be nearly as bad as last year. Look for Culpepper to shine.....at least in week one.

    Eagles 30
    Packers 14

In a nutshell, the packers defense is good, but not good enough to cover for the total lack of a running game that will force Favre to pass 30+ times in this game. When Favre passes this much, turnovers will follow. The Packers D will keep them in this game for at least a half.

    Bears 17
    Chargers 24

AFC, Too much L.T., And a very good Charger Defense will make this a long day for Grossman and the Bears.

    There you go...

Nice predictions Grizz. Here is my take.

    Vikings 17

    Falcons 13

Vikings score one TD on an interception return and the other is set up when they sack Harrington inside the five forcing a fumble.

    Lions 17

    Raiders 14

Raiders are driving in the final minute and Culpepper is picked off in the red zone.

    Eagles 23

    Packers 20

McNabb completes for a first down on 4th and 26 to set up the winning field goal.

    Chargers 27

    Bears 13

The Chargers have LT, and are just to good for the Bears.

I throw in my guesses too... Nice job for those whom have posted so far..

    Vikings 24
    Falcons 10

Vikes are strong in run defense and the Falcons with Harrington won't kill them through the air...

    Raider 21
    Lions 17

Lions offense is better, but the Raiders defense was pretty stout last year.. this year the Raider offense has a couple of teeth in there mouth... not trying to bite with just gums...

    Packers 24
    Eagles 13

Eagles have little in terms of WR's and McNabb is going into a complete game for the first time in about a year. Never the model endurance.. MacNabb and Westbrook will only carry the Eagles so far in this one.

    Bears 17
    Chargers 13

Turner is the coach of this SD team (choke)... there will be some disappointments throughout the season for this team... an opening day loss will be one of them... LT will run for a bunch but will get stacked inside the red zone. *edit... Rex will have his best game of the season and flop from here on out..

NFCN is 3-1 after the first week...

I'll make this short and to the point.

    Bears: 9
    Chargers: 17

It all falls on Rex and Benson, and I'm not expecting much out of either one. Ron Rivera knows the weakpoints in the Bears Offense and the Chargers will capitalize.

    Packers: 21
    Eagles: 13

I expect a big game from the Pack, but not so much from McNabb, especially at Lambeau

    Vikings: 10
    Falcons: 7

I don't see much coming from either team, only because I'm still unsure on Tavaris Jackson.

    Lions: 17
    Raiders: 10

One win down, nine more to go

    Bears: 10
    Chargers: 21

How many wins will the Bears get?

    Packers: 28
    Eagles: 7

Favre starts the season with 3 TD Passes

    Vikings: 21
    Falcons: 7

Can Vick play this game if not the Vikes will win

    Lions: 10
    Raiders: 21

Raiders look pretty good after the draft go Raiders

Michael Vick is done for at least the next couple of seasons. Possibly forever.

    Chargers 17
    Bears 10

    Vikings 13
    Falcons 7

    Lions 14
    Raiders 10

    Packers 24
    Eagles 13

Enough to win the NFC North, again.

And Vick is suspended indefinetly, so he will not be playing against the Vikes or possibly any team this year.

Since I'm probably the only one on here who has ever coached an NFL team, I see it like this.

I don't know why but I'm going out on a limb and calling the bad news Bears led by Rex "Wrecks" Grossman to upset the Chargers in a close one 23-21 (Robbie Gould kicks the game winner and goes 3/3 in FG attempts)

The Eagles defeat my Packers like they have the last 5 times they've played 31-17(McNabb to Reggie Brown and Westbrook all day long, Packers struggle on the ground but Driver gets 2 tds)

Falcons defeat Vikings under the firepower of Joey "ballgame" 17-10( Adrian Petersen scores his first and only NFL touchdown before becoming injured for remainder of the season, the Vikings never recover)

Lions rout the poor hapless Raiders 24-9 John Kitna utilizes all of his weapons through the air and it pays off while the Raiders defense stuffs the Lions running game but their offense struggles in the red zone)

There is no way unless he is injuried that Culpepper doesn't start the first couple games for the Raiders... unless his level of play drops off the map from pre-season..

The Raider do what Culpepper does the best.. vertical game.. he is going to have a decent to good year with the Raiders.. IMO.

If the Packers win the Super Bowl we should have a "shave Cheesey's head party". He will go for it as long as we bring the beer.

Packers win 24-13? I wish. Look I love my Packers( which by the way, I am resposible for molding into the winning franchise you see before you today) but that is a little too homerish there. If they do pull off the win it will look something more like 24-21. Try to pay attention, my young long-haired apprentice. It's alright , I still have faith in you and I will make you a prediction guru yet :D

Yup Lindy, the 10-6 1989 season was pretty darn special!!!
I have a question though, oh great coach, 6-10 in 1990 and 4-12 in 1991. Did you use all all your great coaching skills in 1989, only to not have ANYTHING left for future years?  Oh......and 4-12 in 1988 too.......LOLOLOL!!!
Now.........UNTIL my beloved Packers prove me wrong, i am sticking with my 24-13 prediction!!! So THERE!
(After Sunday i will be MORE then glad to tutor you on how to properly predict winners and losers in the NFL!)

    Or perhaps:

    "In 18 seasons (1967-1983, 1985), Grant's Vikings were 22-12-1 against Green Bay. From 1975-'79 Grant's teams were 8-0-1" :p
