    Week One 2-2....

Well Primates, and especially that poster, Trauma, with the face made of Gorgonzola Cheese, here are your week 2 North Division game picks......

    Chefs
    Bears -12

"We're going on the road against a pretty good defense that doesn't give up a lot of points. It could be ugly," said Chiefs coach Herm Edwards, whose team also managed only two offensive touchdowns in preseason. "But we have to play defense and when we have an opportunity to score we've got to score. We will. We'll get going." Hermie knows what's coming........

Look for the Bears to cover the 12 point margin and win this one going away.

    ViQueens
    Lions -3

Minnesota will be going for its 11th straight victory over Detroit, but this is the first time since 2000 that both teams will have winning records going into the game.

Different day, same old CaCa. The Queens flex their cross dressing muscles and easily cruise to 7 point win.

    Packers
    Giants -1

The Packers, who opened last season 1-4 before rallying to finish 8-8, have not started a season with back-to-back wins since opening 3-0 in 2001.

The Giants have not opened a season with consecutive losses since starting 0-3 in 1996.

The Packers got a touchdown off a muffed punt and three field goals by rookie Mason Crosby, including the 42-yard winner with 2 seconds remaining. They had just 10 first downs, and only one of Crosby's field goals - a 37-yarder to tie the score at 13 in the third quarter - came after a sustained drive.
This one should be a real Barn burner.....ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Green Bays Great Defense and Lousy Offense vs N.Y's Crippled QB, nonexistent running game, and blind corner backs. This will be three hours of Molar Surgery. Look for the mighty Green Machine to pull out another 3 point victory.

Packers O barely scraped by with 5 touchdown's.

In other news, the Chiefs have scored twice as much in one half against the Bears than all game against the Texans.

I would have to agree. So far, packers have looked better than the bears this year. Of course, if I was going to bet on final records, I would still take the bears. This week should really tell something. Both teams at home vs. decent teams.

    I agree.

GB plays the tougher team (as you know) but both good teams.

I think if we can pull it off gainst the Chargers we can officially be cocky, but I'll take a win against the Bears in 3 weeks instead

Wrecks looked very poor in this game, they really need to think about trying something else at the QB position. Hester, man do I dislike that guy... the Bears really didn't look all the special today. Other than another strong day in run D.

    Why do you dislike Hester?

Definately something needs to change at QB. Rex is going to ruin this season for them. So far, I'm more impressed with Peterson than Benson. It's going to be a long year if things keep going the way they are.

    Oh, I'm 7-0 on picks.

Boy do I wish you were making the qb decision for the Bears head coach.
What is not to like about Hester? Name one player in the league that is more exciting?
    Run d good. Check.

Hester is to good that is why :) Somehow I think he will hurt the Pack again this year and I will have to throw my bricks at the TV again.

Yeah mold face tromadz my Bear have been hibernating offensively so far this season, as you so eloquently and sarcastically stated, "but hey, they beat the mighty KC CHIEFS!" It is apparent that Your Mighty Green Machine have become the new NFC Powerhouse, after all, they did beat the The Mighty Giants of New York.
I'm seriously considering giving up all together.

Next week the Mighty Packers will decimate the Hapless San Diego Chargers, while my Bear will be pile driven into submission by the Great Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboy machine.

How could I have ever been so foolish as to think that The Bear would finish ahead of the rampaging Packers......

GB is 2-0 this year, against teams that were in the playoffs last year.

    KC....not so much.

bothe the giants and the Chiefs were six seeds in last years playoffs.

And what exactly does last years game have to do with this season? Why not go back 5 years for the Giants and Eagles? I'll bet they were even better then....

Hester definitely showed he wasn't a one year wonder. Two touchdowns returns in one game. Too bad one was called back for a completely unnecessary penalty :D

Wasn't it last week we heard "You can't depend on your special teams recovering muffed punts every week!"
Well.......they did it again! Our special teams have been better then they have been in a LONG time.
And that Hester...........man, that kid can RUN! HE won the game for "Da Bears" yesterday. The "Chefs" had plenty of chances to win, but just handed it to the Bears.
And the Lions???? Who'da thunk it???

Are you kidding me. If anyone is offensively challenged its the bears. Grossman is awful and will just lead the bears in the tank where they rightfully belong.

Makes you wonder if the Bears faced any team other than the Mighty KC Redbungs, what would have happened...... Im telling you, they will be lucky to make the playoffs. Ive said so all offseason, and the bear fans on the Charger board thought I was smoking crack... well now we see the Bear fans were actually the ones eating homer blindness pie.

With all of "Wrecks" "turnovers", and the "homer blindness pies", it looks more like a beakery then a football team!
