    Man....where HAS that year gone???
    I'm 2 hours and 19 minutes from my birthday. It's my dogs birthday too! (Not kidding!) My wife brought me home a "Suburpia" sub sandwich, my FAVORITE sub!
    She took off work tomorrow (a vacation day) to spend the day with us.

    "Suburpia" is a sub that was quite prevelent in the Milwaukee area back in the 1970's. They went out of business in the early 1980's, and i LOVED their ham sub. Then a few years back, a man that worked for them opened a couple stores in Milwaukee called "Goldcoast subs". (The "Goldcoast" was what my fav sub was called when it was Suburpia) and he uses the same recipe as the old sub shop. So it was like taking a trip back in time for me, getting "my" sub back after so many years.
    Also, in the last couple years actual "Suburpia" shops have reopened in Milwaukee, with the same recipe. They have a mix of spices on them that make them lots different then say for example, Subway.
