this will end up be our downfall this year. Strong LB's, but dam thin on the DL. Same w/ the WR's, great depth, very little on the OL

Don't get too worried, I'm sure there's going to be plenty more activity before the 1st game starts. Hell, for one thing, we don't even have a LS. So I'm sure TT will rectify it soon.

We've been playing with one of our best run stoppers on the bench. Putting Hawk in instead of Chillar is a very big difference, especially containing the cutback. Kampman and Jenkins are very solid on the corners and the best DL's in the league aren't going to change a game that much more than Pickett or Jolly would. Most interior defensive linemen are interchangeable, as long as they are productive. Pickett and Jolly are more than adequate and being able to move Jenkins over on passing downs and letting KGB in helps our 3rd down pass rush a ton. There's no reason to expect this defense to be worse than last year, if anything the experience gained by Hawk, Bigby, and Collins will help the defense out even more. We have play makers at every position on defense, it's hard to not include us in the top 5 right now.
