Vikings have the longest current winning streak in the NFC!

Don't look now, the Vikings have won 4 in a row going into tonights game with "Da Bears". The longest current streak in the NFC. I have to hang my hat on something. Ha Ha. I would rather be sitting 12-2 with a 2 game win streak than 7-6 with a 4 game win streak. But, you have to start some where.

Man, I feel sorry for Vikings fans. Their team starts winning a few and suddenly their fans get their hopes up... only to be shot down

Poor Vikings fans... its gonna be okay. Heck, cheer up! You're team isn't the Lions!!

Jan. 17, 1988: NFC Championship Game: Darrin Nelson drops a pass at the goal line on fourth-and-4 from the Redskins' 6-yard-line with 52 seconds to play in a 17-10 loss to Washington.

October 30, 1988: In one of the most memorable runs ever by an NFL quarterback, Steve Young scrambles 49 yards to score a touchdown with 1:58 left to give the 49ers a come-from-behind, 24-21 victory over Minnesota. Young, who can't find an open receiver on third down, eludes tackle attempts by at least four Vikings before stumbling the final few yards and diving into the end zone.

He is good, but his playoff perfomacne recently leaves a little to be desired. Maybe this year he shakes the national perception that he is a huge choker in the big one. Only time can tell.

Could happen. The Vikes hold the tiebreaker over the Giants and with Eli at QB and a game against the Patriots, one or more losses bythe Giants looks likely. If the Vikes win out, I'd say they're the #5 seed for sure.

You dont have to feel sorry for us....I would rather have an average season...make the playoffs...and lose. Instead of like the pack who will probobly finish 14-2 or 13-3 where the fans think the pack are invincable, only to watch them lose there first playoff game or maybe if there lucky lose the nfc championship. Talk about being shot down?

Im just tlking about this year...no i wouldnt want that every year, but before the winning streak we didnt look to have a prayer at the playoffs but now the season has been fun. so no..im not a little confused...are you????????????
