I noticed Packer Chick that your location is Ashland. We live about two hours west of Ashland, and go to Park Falls three or four times a year. We make a right hand turn somewhere in Ashland (I don't remember the name of the highway) but somewhere along the way to Park Falls, someone has rocks spelling out Go vikings on the slope of his lawn. Have you ever gone that way and noticed it. I will have to take a picture of it, and if I ever learn how to post pictures on here will send it.

I think Packer fans are too mature for that. On the other hand, if the situation were reversed, you can bet your bottom dollar that the queens would have blown up the Packer lawn.

It is a store called Packerland Plus. Has all kinds of Packer stuff in it. The guy who owns it used to have a place in Hayward. Unfortunately, they also carry some queen stuff. I don't remember the address of the place. I just know how to find it. I think my car just automatically goes there. JK :D

Well, it is a nice drive, and we enjoy the scenery. Then on the way home, we go to the Hayward Casino for their buffet which is very very good. You know, when you are retired, you do need to find something to do with your time. And where in MN, do you have a variety of Packer stuff. There is a place in the Mall of America that does carry Packer stuff. :x :p

ahh....Lac Courte Oreilles...driven by there a bunch of times, but never actually walked in the door. My family actually used to vacation a lot on Big Round Lake there on CTH B, just west of the casino

Even the Packers get respect in Viking Land. I like the Black Bear Casino near Carlton by the way. I like the Hayward place too, but cannot win there.

    Carol--
I used to live in Park Falls. I worked at WNBI radio for a time. I used to be a regular at the "Clock Bar" which to this day was one of my favorite watering holes, and I've seen a few.
