Good Morning Cheeseheads

My name is Dr. Seymour Butts and I am a psychiatrist.
It is my sad obligation to inform you that late last night, vikesrule was found wondering around ouside wearing an old purple Tarkenton jersey, and repeating over and over again "Bud Grant, Bud Grant, put Fran in."

Vikesrule was also babbling something about "Alan Page and Ron Yary, put them in too Bud. They can do it."
He was likewise overheard mumbling " Can't even beat Bart Starr, I hope he retires"

Vikesrule was transported to a local mental care faciility for intensive reality treatment

In my professional opinion, Vikesrule is suffering from a form of WHTTOD, "What happened to the old days"
I believe that with rigorous counseling and care, vikesrule should be better soon.

As vikesrule was carried away, he was last heard exclaiming "Anyone know where I can find a Shuffle Board Fan Forum?"

Now.......i really think Vikesrule should recover from WHTTOD quite quickly, as really, what the Vikings did last night was pretty much what they did also in the "old days!" Nothing really changed, so he should be back to "normal" (and i use that term VERY loosely!!!) in no time at all! He actually should be relieved, as the Vikings didn't wait to the very LAST game of the season (as they usually do) to break his heart! Now he can enjoy New Years Eve, without worrying if the Vikings will choke that day......it's already done! :thumbsup:
PLEASE give Vikesrule my best! (I know my best isn't much, but it's all i have to give!)

Dr. Butts releaseed me late yesterday from the Bud Grant Intensive Care center for the perpetual Vikings Fan.
It was only through rigorous care and counseling that I was able to recover.

OK Cheeseheads, it is back to usual for this Proud, but bruised Viking fan.

Just because this is a "smack forum" doesn't mean you are REQUIRED to be an A HOLE to other people. It means you can if you WANT to, but NOT required.
Vikesrule has been a very decent rival here, so I don't see any reason to attack him. He may be mistaken on which team to root for, but he's a great person.
You can be a rival without being a jerk.
Just stick around, and maybe you will learn something!

I agree Cheesy. Vikesrule is one of the nicest viking fan I have known--that I really know him. And guess what, I am rooting for his team this Sunday because I want the lambs to lose.

OK let's clear up a few points.

1. I want to be an *******, it's part of the rivalry game, and I have a genetic predisposition towards it.

2. I could care less what kind of person Vikes is, just because he's a ViQueen fan.

3. As far as being a jerk, well, on a Smack Board I tend to lean that way, call me nuts but if you're looking for buddies, friends, or companionship, you need to go to Match.com, or at the very least your regular forum boards.

4. As far as learning something here, what exactly are you proposing, sensitivity training? Are most of the members here housed in a Nursing Home?
