    No it's not Brett
    No it's not Delhomme
    No it's not Kerry Collins
No it's not McNabb or anyone else

The quarterback they should have went after is none other than.....

If you think I'm full of it, the Colts managed to go 1-15 with him as that starter, that is better than 0-16 with Curtis Painter and the quarterback of the Lions that did go 0-16 back in 2008.

Don't forget Indy trotted Kerry Collins out there a few times this year as well. Guess they couldn't have gone after Jim Harbaugh, though I would have loved to have him there in any capacity.

At least you didn't go back to the Jack Trudeau years, thought the Jeff George years were lean times indeed...

Kerry Collins was such an epic fail. Such a horrible fit for this offense and he took FOREVER to release the ball it seemed.

And hey now. Colts are not 0-16 yet. ;) But, how are my favorite teams both on track for history in the same season's but in opposite ways? Weird.

He was rather statuesque in the pocket, wasn't he? Sad that he made Manning look mobile. I'm still convinced that I could have done twice as well for the Colts as Kerry did, and would have done so for half the money. That move was the one that finally made me open my eyes to the complete failure that has been the Colts front office for the past few years.

    LOL

Jeff George won a game with the horrible 1991 Colts, 1-15. Better than 0-16, which I'm guessing is why they brought in the winless Detroit quarterback, cause then they'd have someone who did go 0-16 to tell the team how it's going to feel.

Jeff Georgie and Kerry Collins are close in age, if they wanted a 40 year old quarterback, here's a guy that claimed he could learn the playbook in "a matter of a few days".

Sad thing for George is, he could have been a HoF quarterback, he had one of the best arms ever, but a damn brain the size of a nickel. He don't have the 3rd best arm in Tecmo Super Bowl for nothing, even in 1992 they knew he had something.

If they bring in George they are guaranteed to repeat history, at 1-15 lol

    Whats wrong with me?

I am strangely excited about Orlovsky. Are things that bad or was Painter that bad? Stay tuned.......

I think I just like the name Orlovsky. Much cooler then Painter.

Except for the fact he was part of an 0-16 team. Still have no clue why they didn't go after Serj, the one that was trained in the manning system and had play time as a back up. He knows the system, he could have got them a win last week.

It's a change, which (other than due to injury) we haven't seen out of the Colts at all this year. I think he has something he wants to prove, I'm just not sure he'll be able to do it, but the results can't be worse than the first 11 games, right?

I see there was a conversation about the Colts in the shout box.
Bogart, I don't think there is any proof that Manning said he does not want the Colts to draft a QB. I have heard Polian said that they have his blessing to draft someone. But, honestly I don't think it's even Peyton's choice. The future should be up to Jim Irsay here.
Peyton is healing well I have read but the main concern will then be regaining arm strength to play in the NFL again at a high level. Everything can heal just fine in order to have a normal life possibly. But, to have the arm again is a different story and only time will tell.
