Thats right. I was a dumbass that wrote off the Badgers at halftime and they came back and won the game. You can call me anything you want. If you got a bone to pick say it. I give the Badgers a hard time because the expactions of this season. Getting Russel Wilson and everything I expected Perfection. Someone pass the salt.
My neighbor texted me saying that I was scaring his gf and she was wondering if I was safe to be around. But I still never lost faith!!!! Eat your damn crow!
I don't see the need to give you a hard time or to rub it in, Lunch. Besides, I happen to like crows since I like all birds. I'm sure your happy to see Bucky going on to the Rose Bowl instead of the Ty-Dee-Bowl or one of those other ones where the winning trophy ends up in the basement instead of prominently displayed in the upstairs case.
Phftt boxer... screw that. I stopped watching early in the second quarter ... not because I gave up on them but because I CAN'T watch THAT defense. You're ok in my book. If they had lost...I'd have gurgled a little bit this morning saying something to the effect that "Hey, it's not as though they didn't deserve to lose". Now that they've won, I say "Hey ... Michigan State got lucky last time, the Badgers got lucky this time." However, since we're in the Smack area, I feel compelled to talk $%#* so... here ya go. "Ya dumb a$#, how could you doubt Brett Bielema's defense? I knew from the opening kickoff that they were going to win this game one way or the other because I subscribe to the blind faith school of sports fandom. Even though the Badgers give you NO reason to think they'll win ... they haven't substantially stopped the Spartans all night... ya gotta believe brother ... someone, somehow, some way will sprinkle some fairy dust or God's finger will reach down and touch them...but, by gawd 'lil mister ... you WILL NOT lose faith."
Geez, next thing you know, someone will be on here predicting a Pats win over the Packers in Indy, and then taking his ball and going home once he is shown the error of his ways... It's easy to get wrapped up in the emotions of a game, and this is exactly why I don't visit forums during the heat of competition. At least if I only scream at the TV, it isn't recorded for perpetuity. Turned out to be a great, if frustrating at times, game.
Yeah, probably not the best idea to post during the "heat" of competition, but some people on here won't let it go. Back in February I posted that Governor Quinn had "welshed on his bet" with Governor Walker. I said I would apologize if he kept his bet, and I did apologize because Quinn later said he would make good, but he never has. I challenged those who jumped all over me to do the same and none have, so I respect your "manning up" and apologizing.
I believe that he did indeed make good on the bet...IN AUGUST...no need to apologize for calling him a welcher...guys like him should just keep their mouths shut. The guy is just a knob. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/126594688.html
What does Scott Walker and someone I never heard of Before relevent to this? Its like some British person is reporting news from places im not sure exist....
Walker is the Governor of the state of Wisconsin. Quinn is the Governor of Illinois. They had a "bet" before the NFCCG. After the Pack won, Quinn welshed on the bet. Sorry for the confusion. Point is, people are quick to jump all over you and promise to eat crow, but then don't, so it was good to see that you made good on the promise to eat crow.
So lunchboxer, are you going to predict a Giants win at half time??? Looking forward to it. Your insight goes beyond all proffesional broadcasters themselves we are very lucky to have you on this board. Someone has to give you ****.
The heck you will... I forbid it!! Screw him, he should have been there the next week...we are, afterall, talking about a bet on the Super Bowl.
