It's not racist first off LOL its from an NES game but they just put him on a yoshi instead of a bike.
I don't get it. What are you saying; that football is less violent than futbol? Or that in Football nobody pulls dirty shots? I don't understand..
He's saying in American Football they aren't so fakey trying to get penalties called..... everyone knows soccer players have turned the flop into a work of art. Speaking of works of art:
I love soccer, I have season tickets for my team, but he is right, soccer player fake a lot and are always whinning for nothing.
There is a lot of gamesmanship, not to be confused with sportmanship in Soccer. But I noticed a few teams used it against the Packers' secondary this year...guys acting like they've been interfered with, then throwing up their hands looking for a penalty flag (Washington comes to mind). Chicago players rushing the QB and when they can't get to him spinning or falling down with their hands out like they've been held was another one I remember. (And of course, Brady "One of his beard hairs hit me too hard, Ref, and knocked me down illegally!")
Yeah I know things like that happens in the NFL, but you cant compare. Today in the game Bilbao - Valencia one player throws an elbow to the head of other player and at the same time fakes an injury, in almost every futbol game I see somebody try to confuse the referee faking. To stay in topic:
soccer is for fairies who like to prance around for 90 minutes and end games with an exciting 1-0 score
Nice way to stay in topic. I guess the difference is that it's almost an official part of the game in soccer and (and NBA) and in the NFL it's still unofficial.
Having coached 5 Championship teams and having a son who plays in college, all I've got to say to that is; Come over here and let me punch you....HARD...then we'll see who's fairies. :nhl_fight:
I've had my ribs broken from a kick, I've been concussed, had knee ligaments damage (never torn them actually) from vicious tackles that hit my leg sideways, broken fingers, all from playing soccer. The problem with simulation is a problem with officiating. It's just so arcaic the way FIFA runs things, if they had the ability to see replays, it would dissapear. So, if you don't like the sport, fine, but respect it.
Oh yeah, why..I...oughta...:tommy: ...you don't have to kneel in front of me. You can stand up ya know. What's that? OH you're ALREADY standing.
When I was overseas, I realized that many Americans have no idea how violent Europeans like their soccer. I remember watching them rant and almost riot at games unlike what I've seen in the U.S. They'd actually fight each other in the streets if one team beat the other in a regular match.
