They still refer to themselves as The New York Football Giants.
Why?
Because fans, players, coaches and other staff are just too stupid to realize that the baseball team moved out of New York and to San Francisco decades ago.

Green Bay Packers went to and won the very first Super Bowl (1967) and they repeated the very next year.
It took the New York Giants, (That's the football team for any Giants football fans reading this.) 20 years! to get to the SB and they have never repeated a SB win.

Ny Giants have only 8, (Not even double digits.) total championships wins while the Packers have 13.
Pretty bad for the Giants, a team being around since 1925.

I thought they had to identify themselves as the "New York Football Giants" because otherwise it would not be clear exactly what sport it is that they are playing.

Lawrence Taylor is NOT a child rapist. Yes, he had sex with a 16 year old prostitute who claimed to be 19 at the time. That makes LT guilty of poor judgement & low moral standards. It does not however make him "a child rapist".
In case you didn't know, LT was acquitted in his civil trial. It took a jury less than an hour deliberating before concluding that every accusation made by the prostitute was a lie.

I don't really care, I check my morals before I post on this board. These stupid Vagiants fans seem to enjoy gloating, and trolling over their halfway-somewhat-decent team beating our ***.

Thank you for the advice about leaving this board but I think I will stay unless LongTime or one of the other moderators want me to leave and I don't think they do. This is a wonderful board with great talk about Xs and Os. Green Bay Packers fans are among classiest I have ever met and that is one of the reasons why I ask you to be better than some of your comments.

BTW, I also agree with you about the horrible ticket prices and PSL fees at Giants Stadium.

The only reason he got off of all charges is because he was famous ( See OJ simpson case ) If that was a regular average person, they would have locked'em up and tossed the key out the window.

I think that if he weren't famous this incident never would have been an issue beside whore and trick. What he did was deplorable and LT has to answer to his wife and to The Good Lord above but I don't think he is a short eyes. It seems that he thought the prostitute was over 18 and although that is not an excuse, it points that he wasn't put there trolling for underage broads. Heck, if he really was looking for a 16 year old why didn't he just go to NJ where that is the legal age of consent?

^ your correct, he may not be, but facts are facts and he did what he did. His use of a prostitute that was underage, and he has had drug problems in the past as well. Not really a model citizen or even a "hero" to be looked up to. He is a shadow of his former self and a poor example of what a retired player should be doing.

I completely agree with you. He is not someone that should be regarded as a hero or looked up to in any way. He should be ashamed of himself. Hopefully he gets the help he needs or he may wind up in jail eventually.
