This is great news! Bennett's a class act and has a great attitude. Maybe he can help Green with the fumbling problem.

Happy to hear Edgar has been promoted to running backs coach!!!!!!!! If we get as many starting player changes as coaches, it could be a very exciting FALL!!!

Sounds good. He got his feet wet last year a little when Croom left and he helped fill in for Croom, so he should fit in smoothly.

A poster on a different forum mentioned how he hoped Butler would take Bennett's current position, and I agree. Butler doesn't seem sure if he wants to spend the hours it takes to be a coach. In Bennett's old position, Butler would still be able to contribute to the Packers and not put in long coaching hours. I think Butler would make a good spokesman for the Packers if he took Bennett's current job.

I have always liked Edgar Bennett. I hope he does well as a Packers RB coach. I hope he advances from a position coach to a coordinator.
I have always wished the best for Edgar Bennett. He gave us his best as a player and I can only assume he will continue to give the Packers his best as a coach.
