Chants to fire the head coach, a dispute on the sideline between assistants, a star receiver being benched. It all adds up to a disaster of a situation that makes us confident in saying one final time that this season is a complete nightmare for the Eagles' supposed "Dream Team."
Here's the trifecta of doom that occurred Sunday while the Patriots stomped all over the Eagles and all but ended their shot of a postseason berth.
    1) As Andy Reid stood on the sideline and tried to coach his team, he did so to the sound of "Fire Andy! Fire Andy!" reverberating throughout Lincoln Financial Field in the third quarter.
"You really don't hear much down there, so I didn't hear it," Reid said, according to the Associated Press. "The way we played, I can understand."
    2) There apparently was unrest within the team, as Comcast SportsNet and the Philadelphia Daily News reported that offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and defensive line coach Jim Washburn "exchanged words" on the sideline.
    3) DeSean Jackson was benched in the fourth quarter of the blowout loss after dropping quite a few passes, the most egregious of which happened when he short-armed a sure touchdown because he heard footsteps.
Apparently, Jackson is letting his ongoing contract dispute affect the way he plays these days.
"Always. Always got to keep your head on a swivel," Jackson said.
Not that we ever automatically placed the Eagles in the Super Bowl, but even for us it's hard to believe that, with all the free-agent spending, they're 4-7.
"You couldn't even dream that record for this team with the talent we have," Jackson said.
And yet, that's the harsh reality. Have at it, Philly fans.

I will admit I was very worried about them at the start of the year..Glad to say I was wrong...

I was sure that the players they got would perform and win..I dont really think it is the free agents that are not trying, I think it is more that the coaches may not know how to use them

DeSean is an idiot...The guy has all this talent and stops playing...A good way of the upper people to NOT give you more money

Look at Jared Allen, the man played long snapper yesterday...Take that clue Jackson and play your best everytime

Reid couldn't hear the chanting fans because he was screaming "I want a a Cheese Steak, Cheese Steak ...I said CHEESE STEAK ...RIGHT NOW!" into his malfunctioning headset.

It is pretty unfortunate Vince Young had to call them the dream team. He is an idiot.

With all the talk of hexes in Philly, I'm surprised I'm not hearing that thrown around here more. People have been saying the Eagle's are jinxed for as long as I can remember. Vince Young didn't help matters by calling them the Dream Team. You can't count all your eaglets before they hatch. When will those bald birds ever learn.

    What a pathetic team.......

I only watched the second half tonight but thought they might be able to beat the Seahawks. Horrible lol.

Can't buy a title in the offseason.
