and the Baltimore Ravens are the "real" Cleveland Browns.

The Oilers have the closest thing ever to Earl Campbell, with Arian Foster, (CJ2K what????) and Wade Phillips defense is as intimidating as Bum Phillip's mean hard hitting squad that went to the AFC Championship twice. Many people don't remember that cause Earl was the entire offense, but that defense was pretty damn good too. No joking, this team reminds me of the Oilers that I watched many years ago...Except this defense is much better than the average one that let Buffalo come back and beat them. This team...is the REAL Houston Oilers, not those idiots over in Tennessee that wear the throwbacks just to say thank you back to all the fans they screwed over. This is the real Oilers, and they proved it by beating the living hell out of the Bengals.

I hope they bust the Ravens wide open...Joe Flacco is about as mobile as Bernie Kosar, so you know what that means, remind the old Browns how much you loved beating their ***.

This is actually an old rivalry game that has been forgotten for many years. The Ravens are the old Browns...The Texans are the old Oilers. Only one time did they meet in the playoffs, and the Oilers beat them,on the road in the cold windy weather.

Since Bum Phillips himself is supporting the Texans, and calling them the real Houston Oilers, they should change their uniforms to this, and rename the stadium to "The House of Pain II" cause I hope this defense continues to dominate next season.

There is so much pressure here on Flacco, and I'm thinking with all his talk about deserving respect, that he may well go out there and try to take the game on his own. If they get away from the run, and if Houston can establish theirs, setting up play action, this one could easily go the way of the road team. I was at the game in week 6, and Ben Tate gave the Ravens D fits.

I think they can beat the Ravens, but it's going to be close....Defense will win it definetely.

I want to see Flacco get beat up like they used to do to Kosar...Actually, Flacco reminds me a lot of Bernie Kosar, especially the mobility, but I like to remember Bernie as a good guy; he didn't go down hill until the injuries.

Flacco is so ridiculously over rated it's amazing. I actually got into a conversation with a Ravens fan who told me that he'd rather see the Ravens stick with Joe than acquire a 100% healthy and pissed off Peyton Manning because "Joe shows so much upside and a move like that could derail a hall of fame career". Dead serious, and this guy typically knows football. He told me Manning wasn't very good his first 2 years, so Joe has some time still. Two years? How long has Flacco been in the league? The guy simply shows no promise of ever being an above average NFL QB.

Not as confident in Houston. I wish I was but I am not. I think Yates might meet his demise in this one. I think the Ravens vets believe this is one of their best chances ever for the SB.
Tough game but if Schaub was here I would be all over the Texans again like a fat kid on candy. Such a shame that he got hurt. The Texans were looking fierce.

To be fair the Ravens have only played on the road in the playoffs under Flacco. Give him a shot. The Ravens have sucked against bad teams this year but have not lost to any winning teams. Flacco has also led them to road wins in the playoffs too.

Not a huge Flacco fan but I think the criticizing of him at times gets a bit out of hand. However if they rely on Ray Rice more they will win more then they lose. No he isn't Rodgers/Manning/Brady though.

All 4 of his years, he has led them to the playoffs...not saying he is a HOF, but must be doing something right

Well this postseason is a big one for him. I don't like the Ravens but I never disliked Flacco, I kinda like him actually. This is his shot to lead his team coming off a bye week in the playoffs finally.

But, still they need to run that O through Rice. Rice is a little beast. He reminds me of a MJD clone.

I'm not convinced Flacco has gone out and lead the Ravens too many times. It's a solid team with good coaching who can cover the deficiencies of Flacco. Not saying he's bottom tier, he's not. He lacks the internal clock needed to avoid hits, his ball handling is sloppy and he's rather errant with a high percentage of his passes, even if they are complete. He doesn't often lead a receiver. Imagine the Ravens with an elite (top 5 or 6 in the league QB). I've watched him from his days in Delaware through his pro days, and he just leaves me with that feeling of doubt.

I still call him Flacc, even though he won. There is no "O" in Flacco.

Yep, they won despite him. Had TJ Yates not gone color blind, and had the Ravens not gotten that special teams fumble gift, that game could have turned out much different, and Joe would have been under all kinds of fire here.
