It's the new AFC curse and it's how I kinda knew the Pats were in trouble.

    So, lets see.

2009: The ankle curse hits Dwight Freeney. Just happens to be the biggest playmaker on the Colts D.

2010: The ankle curse hits Pouncey. Just happens to be the center for the Steelers in a crappy o line.

2011: The ankle hits Gronk. Who just happened to the scariest weapon Brady has. And to make it even worse it's the third time Pollard knocked out a Pats offensive player. Brady, Welker, Gronk.

As we can see now. The Colts/Steelers/Patriots were destined to lose the Super Bowl in their respective years.

Now that the threesome of the most dominant AFC teams of the last decade have lost SBs I suspect next year we finally see someone new break through. Maybe Houston.

Next year the Ankle curse will hit Von Miller of the Denver Broncos when they go into the Super Bowl against the Dallas Cowboys and end up losing.

Nah just kidding, had to poke fun at all the crazzzzzy denver predictions I have heard, and back at Dallas.

But it was Indy, Pitt, NE all together getting knocked out. Looks like change is coming in the AFC. the top 3 dominates are no more, and the bottom feeder (Baltimore) is soon to be no more too.

The AFC can go back into being the NFC's bitch again like from the 1984-1997, with just 1 or 2 good teams that make it to multiple Super Bowls and get their *** kicked (Buffalo 4 Super Bowls, Denver, 3 Super Bowls the one in 1997 don't count, totally different team except for Elway) and I guess we will have some NFC dominance in teams.

I said after the Colts lost to the Saints to everyone I knew that the tide was changing.

I sorta have this funny feeling right now it's going to be a Texans/Saints SB next year. I hope I am wrong. I want the Packers in but I have to see defensive improvements too.:(

If Spags cleans up the Saints D a bit and they sign a FA on offense (like Wayne) they are gonna be brutal. I don't trust teams who host the SB but then again I also thought the Saints in 2009 would get hit by the "Bucs curse" and they didn't. So whatever.

In the AFC I won't count out the Steelers either. They won't die. We know this. Ben is still too young and they will get the help of the refs. Unlike NE the ref help for the Steelers is historical.

Also, some season maybe the Chargers put it together. Meh.

An all southern Super Bowl, damn....Even though I don't really consider Indy to be in the South, I don't think people down here will ever get that lucky again.

I wanted the Saints to play Baltimore in the Super Bowl, but that will never happen. I just know that would be a great game watching Brees shred their old D apart.

I wanted the Jets a lot more than the Steelers when it came to Green Bay, just for a shot at making Rex shut up and embarrass him at the big game, but that will never happen. The Jets are the Cleveland Browns 1985-1989 of the current AFC. They were the first team since CLE to lose back to back AFC Championships. The Browns lost them back to back, skipped a year, and the next season some how they were back in the AFC Championship in 1989, when they had absolutely no business being there after they got shut out by the Bengals and beat down by the Oilers, and of course, they got blown out by a Denver team that game up 55 points in the Super Bowl to possibly the greatest offense of all time.

Some how I see the Jets in the AFC Championship again, with the same result.
