Ordinarily I wouldn't pay too much attention to new PS guys or special teamers, but it is what it is.

    1. Johnny White...signed 10 days ago to the 53 man:

Drafted 5th. round by the Bills in 2011 out of North Carolina. Waived by the Bills 10/13, picked up by the Pack 2 days later. Ran 20 times for 72 yards in his time with the Bills.

5'10", 205. Runs about 4.50. More of a north/south guy projected to the zone scheme. Shows some physicality and yards-after-contact ability. Shows pass catching ability. Played in a pro set offense at NC against some quality ACC competition.

"He can be a contributor because he's very bright," Packers special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum said. "He played gunner in Buffalo. He also has played fullback, wing, and covered kickoffs inside and outside. He's been on punt returns. He's a kickoff returner. Done it all."

With one or no padded practices per week, coming in mid-year, it would hard to work him in at TB. Yet, the way things are going, they may try him. Kuhn is dinged this week to add the issues.

    2. DuJuan Harris...signed to PS today:

2011 UFA from Troy. Ran 9 times for JAX in 2011. Cut in August 2012, spent 4 days with PIT, then cut again.

5'7", 200 lbs. No issue with pad level here. Again, like Green, he ran out of a shotgun spread offense in college, against less than elite competition. Runs about 4.45. Shows good short distance quickness and direction change to the hole. Not much in the highlight reel illustrating yards-after-contact ability. Shows pass catching ability.

Something is better than nothing. Plus TT might have just pulled a rabbit out of his hat again, maybe one will turn out decent.

Hopefully we can get ahead in the score against Jacksonville. No better time to work in a new player than garbage time; its against starters, you still need to move the ball.
