Well none of us have to date Andrew Luck. I just want to see TDs and stuff like that. With a helmet on it won't matter if he is good looking or not.

He also is very very smart. You don't go to Standford as an idiot. A lot of ugly guys are smart.

This is not a conversation I want any part of. We went from dissecting the futility of the Colts and their potential future at QB to a tangent that I'm probably going to have to drink the memories away. Stay on topic here, people, stay on topic...

Colts could wrap up the #1 seed in the next draft as soon as next week. Not exactly home field throughout the playoffs, but hey, take what we can get, right?

I am not sure what to say.

If this is an attitude some share in the locker room it does not suprise me now. This has never been a true TEAM in Indy. And that is what has often bothered me the most at times.

Okay forget QB's for a minute here...head coach is even more important, VERY important.

LOSE THE FINAL 3 COLTS LOSE!!!!!! Can't be too tough either but the Jags better not throw the game or something.

You mean he would STAY if they managed to win one game? That's stupid. He's already proved the only reason they won with him was Peyton.

So if they win 1, they would STILL get the number #1, right? Minny has two wins, I think.

The more I see, hear and read from Polian, the more I think he really was abducted by aliens. Heck, if I were the Titans and saw that the Colts getting 1 win would ensure Blinky staying on as head coach, I'd do everything in my power to make sure we not only lost, but lost in such a prolific state that Orlovsky would not only set single game records, but indeed seasonal records for passing yardage, completion percentage and touchdowns. I would make sure Donald Brown ran for 600+ yards in the first half.

The thought of that inept excuse for a head coach standing on the sidelines, looking confused and refusing to make a single adjustment for at least one more year? Sure, if I'm a divisional opponent, I'm jumping at the chance.

That being said, the 2011 Colts are, well, the 2011 Colts. Even if they were to play against the JV team from a preschool for the blind, they would probably be 4.5 point underdogs, and play to that level, if not worse. I had wanted to see them win at least one, but if there's any truth to this, 0-16 is the only acceptable record this season.

Are the 2011 Colts worse than the 1-15 Colts from 1991? As far as trying to win, and coaching staff and all that? I'll let you decide.

    But the answer is yes.

There is no way on Earth you can justify keeping a coach more after a 1-15 season then an 0-16 season. Like that one win is worth celebrating and keeping Caldwell around for?

    My how expectations became lower.

Next it will be "If the Colts hold a halftime lead in any of the next three games, we'll count it as a moral victory and a rallying cry from the players in support of Coach Caldwell. We are prepared to sign him to an open ended contract, knowing he will make the kind of decisions that will move the team well into the 20th century. If you have any doubts, look at the masterful way he may handle the team during some portion of one of the final three games this season."

I've been a Colts fan for as long as I've followed football, but this season is really sickening to me, especially with the way the front office is showing how inept they really are.

I 100% agree. And for me in some ways it started in 2009. Perhaps Dungy held a lot of this together and things caved in with him gone. Some of the stuff from Polian's mouth is baffling.

I am scared of the Jaguars game now in the final week.

Ugh, the Colts board just got a LOT worse instead of better. Before, it was a bunch of bickering over taking Luck or not, now it is "The sky is falling! We're going to win out and have the 3rd pick! We suck more than, err, deserve the 1st pick way morez than those Vikings or Rams! The NFL is out ta git us by putting the winable games at the end when we were soooooooooo close to securing our future!!!!!1111!!!??11!!!! Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

Oh man. I never thought of losing the first pick. Eeek.

Houston looks lost to me on D without Wade and they never never won in Indy. I am not sure he is back for Thursday night. And then it's a finish with the Jags.

    Lauren you are bad. BAD.

At least we would not have to worry about him getting in trouble with chicks all the time. He won't get any. He can just focus on football.

That is if the Colts don't continue their hot streak and all......

I know. Aaron Rodgers should spank me.

I don't think we have to worry about er, Lucking out. I'm shocked as can be the Colts got a W in Tennessee. I just don't see it happening against the Texans though. Maybe the Jags, but even if we tie another team or two, we still have the easiest schedules, don't we?

I wouldn't bet on that. Just look at **** Jagger (of the Rolling Stones, for some reason the filter won't let me say his first name). Luck is extremely successful and talented and it looks like he's on his way to becoming one of the top QBs in the NFL. That's all he needs. Silly women won't care what he looks like.

I changed my mind. No way should Houston lose to the Colts. Sure they are banged up on offense and never won in Indy. BUT, they also have the ability to just hand the ball off to Foster and thats it. He tears us up every time.

I should have seen the Colts having a shot vs. the Titans. The Colts NEVER get beaten up much at all by Chris Johnson. We often stuff him. He is overrated. And his speed is often counteracted by our speed.

MJD in the finale will be tough. He owns our souls. The only thing that ever scares me about the Jags is that little bowling ball.

That, and hand it to Ben Tate for a change of pace. He's a beast. It might help that Andre Johnson is out, but in the end, don't see that as making enough of a difference.

I think Caldwell will stick with what worked last week and will not abandon the run, even when they are averaging -3.2 yards per carry against the #5 ranked rushing D in the league.

I keep looking at QB ratings, and see 4 with higher rankings than Neckbeard, including Russell Wilson from Wisconsin. Heck Robert Griffin III won the Heismann, not Luck. Why all the hype for Luck?
