Well I'm pretty sure he'll be long gone before the Packers get a pick.

Oh NO!!! We don't need Luck!!! I'm not that smitten with him! We have Aaron Rodgers!!! Luck will cause an epic quarterback controversy if he came here. Can you imagine Rodgers, Flynn and Luck all jockeying for position?!

Flynn will be gone in FA, Rodgers is the man for the next three years at least. If Luck is BPA on TT's board, take him, develop him and in three years trade A-rod or Luck depending on injuries and attitude and whatever you can get for them.

    Miami wins big today!!!

Colts are the worst team in the league by far.

Oh please Mr. Irsay. Give us Luck and a new head coach. Think of the future. This thing needs some rebuilding.

I have a really good feeling about this Luck kid.

Nobody would beat Aaron right now. Nobody.

If somehow we got Luck, I would expect Flynn would be starting as a QB elsewhere. But it ain't going to happen, so we don't need to think about it.

Miami fans (some of them) are ticked about the win on their forums. Heck I have even heard some say they want Flynn now if they can't get Luck.

    Try to figure this out.

Jim Irsay tweeted this after the Colts lost week 1:
    JimIrsay Jim Irsay
    There will b some shocking,dramatic,inspiring,unimaginable things happening n Coltsland the next 18 months...buckle up,stay faithful,BELIEVE

And then again after the Saints loss:
    JimIrsay Jim Irsay
    We'll b back on top,keep the FAITH...we're a lot tougher than these bitter times..I told u 2 months ago,the next 18 months would b turbulent

Is it something to do with Manning? Are we trading/releasing him or he is retiring? Big changes might be made? Sounds to me like he is trying to prepare Colts fans for something in the next 18 months. But, it's strange. Why 18 months? Thats a long time.
All I know is something will happen.......

What is also concerning is the heavy amount of "Peyton Colts fans" we have. We don't have a loyal fanbase like the Packers. We have a fickle fanbase. They jump on and off the bandwagons for the Pacers and Colts all the time.

Another recent Irsay tweet mentioned the 1997 season. That was the year the Colts got the first pick in the draft and got Manning in 98 and cleaned house everywhere on the team from top to bottom. Being that guys like Wayne/Mathis/Saturday are also FAs it makes you wonder. And the coaches too.

I was on another football board once with a guy named RavenSteve. About every thread he ever posted was about how Irsay was the devil for sneaking out of Baltimore.

Think he was a little bit bitter about the Colts moving.

Many Ravens fans hate the Colts. My dad was a Baltimore Colts fan though.

    You called?

I think when "Suck for Luck" is mentioned on the computer an alarm goes off for me now.

Now I like this Luck kid. With the right coaching staff (which the Colts need to get) he can develop into something. I like a lot about him.

And I know you are joking but the Packers don't need him. They have a flawless QB playing right now who I am convinced was made in a lab in Green Bay in some basement.

    Really though. Aaron. *happy sigh*

Suck for Luck will have more to offer fans after today. If the Colts beat the Jags or keep it close in a loss maybe we know more about this team's "intentions." If they get beaten handily by the Jags (and keep in mind this team did beat Baltimore and the Jags always play the Colts tough) then I may start to wonder a bit here.

I heard Jeff Saturday had a team meeting this week. Oh wow, yeah let's wait until the team is 0-9 and the laughingstock of the league before you call one of those. Uh huh. I am guessing the team meeting was due before a game they felt they could win. Before the Saints game they probably ate twinkies and played video games in practice all week.

One thing that does concern me. I am afraid the team might turn down Luck and regret it forever. Irsay loves Peyton so much and is very loyal to him. Sure I love Peyton and what he has done. But, there comes a time you have to think of the future and not turn down one of the best QB prospects in decades as well. Luck might be getting a tad overhyped but then again I like the kid and his potential. Luck/Lucky horseshoes. I like it.

Or, we can just clone Aaron in that basement lab.

Or, if Luck is not worth it then how about this:

Don't forget Luck is still a junior.....he might give Stanford another year.....or he might pull a Eli Manning

Ahhh that Suck for Chuck picture reminds me of the whole "We Want Jon Gruden" that went around the league last year, without most people even looking into him.

I watched Tampa Bay play the Saints every year when he coached there, and he'll always be a coach that just won a Super Bowl with another man's team in my eyes.
What happened after he won the Super Bowl? Oh I remember, 7-9, 5-11, just one more season winning 10 or more games lol

I knew Luck was way way overhyped all year long.... now seeing him for the 2nd time in 4 weeks, I believe as Phil Simms said, he's also overrated.

He's not that once-in-2 decades prospect who is a can't miss star!
Peyton Manning was. That was 1.5 decades ago.

Well, it sucked to be Luck last night, I guess. Maybe he's not the Second Coming everybody thinks he is. Heck, they probably won't win the Pac now.

Didn't he also have a sub-100 yard game last year? I'm not sure he's all he's made out to be.

Phil Simms takes a lot of criticism, but he's got a point. if only they would say that about Tebow.
