So at work tonight(I'm a bouncer at a bar), I wore my Packers sweatshirt and this drunk Bears fan was trying to give me ****. This happens a bit(its one of the reasons I wear my GB stuff there), but this guy was hilariously dumb.

    - He called Favre a pussy(Not like he has a QB starting streak record or anything)

    - He said Rex Grossman is better than Favre.

    - But my favorite was when I tried to explain to him how GB will get to the playoffs by riding their solid defense again, he asked "Yeah, right, They don't have a defense like the Bears. We have Urlacher! who do the packers have on defense that's worth a damn?" To which I replied. "AJ Hawk, Charles Woodson, Nick Barnett, Atari Bigby, KGB, Aaron Kampman, Al Harris, Cullen Jenkins, Ryan Pickett.." and what does he say? "Oh those guys all suck."

I enjoyed how I rattled off like 10 defensive players, I bet he couldn't name anyone other than Urlacher and Briggs. God I love the meathead bears fans.

I'm sure these incidents will only increase since Favre has retired, and they will all come out of their shell and say "No favre! Ha!"

Yo, Tro.....was he a typical Chicago "Guido"? You know, round as a bowling ball; kiosk-at-the-mall cheap gold rope and pinkie ring; gravy-stained white t-shirt? And don't forget the 50 cent cigar and tufts of neck hair climbing out his collar.

Not that I am into stereotypes or anything!

I LOVE it when one of these Eiensteins trys to start a football based argument, and try to use "Da Bears" as their foundation.
Rex ReallyGrossman is better then Favre??? Maybe thats true.......now that Favre is retired that is! Thats the ONLY way ol' Rexxy can throw more TD's then Favre, is if Favre isn't playing!

Tromadz, you live in Chicago? You have my sympathy. This guy must have been really drunk to say Kampman, Bigby, KGB suck. And Grossman better than Favre? Yeah right!

    This reminds me of something.

During the season, I was at the sports bar with my Packer attire on. I live in Jersey. A guy I know vaguely asked me how I "became" a Packers fan. I said "the same way you became a Bears fan". So he said, "weeeeellhellhell! I'm FROM Chicago!" I had forgotten he was from Chicago. He said this real loud and snotty in front of a bunch of people, trying to make a fool out of me.

So I said, "weeeeellhellhell!" (the same way he did) "My dad has been a Packer fan since the Lombardi days. This was before I was born!" He was like "oh. Is Favre gonna retire? Cause he SHOULD! Man he's old!" A bunch of guys behind him were laughing. I just said, "as long as he can play, he's not old!"

Hey Snap how are you? Hey what is with the giant fans rubbing the nfc title game in our faces over there and laughing at Favre's retirement because of his last throw. That kinda hurt because I thought the giant fans had respect for us and didnt hate us.

I think that the bear fan was just nervous that without Favre, the Packers now have a chance at beating the bears. Some people just dont handle pressure well.

Btw- that guy was so wrong saying all those guys suck. Kampman is pretty good.

PackOne - That is a great Rodgers pic. Stach could use a little more curl on the end, but otherwise excellent! Should be quite a battle this year in the NFC for the All-Facial Hair Team at QB between Rodgers and Orton...

You have to remember Packerbacker.........there are good and bad fans of ALL teams, even our beloved Packers. Heck, we use to have a few of those putzes here! So SNAP is a cool dude, and you have to just blow off the idiots, and not judge him on their idiocy.

Pack, I'm doin' fine. Those fans are probably the young jerks who have no idea about Favre's history let alone who was the NYG quarterback before Kerry Collins. Plus they're probably puffing out their immature chests because we won the SB & they get on Brett for the INT. They couldnt even fathom that Brett got a team to the NFC CG that probably, like us, shouldnt have even been there. As for the historys of both our teams, these guys dont have a clue. One of you mentioned in another thread how the Pats have(had..lol) all these bandwagon fans. Well, this is an example of it w/these chowderheads. Most older (35+) Giant fans are like me in the fact that we respect talent and greatness, and class no matter who the player is and what team he's on. Players like Brett, Starr, Simms, & Tittle....how can anybody really take shots at them???......As for Eli.........the jury is still out on him in my mind. But the SB went a long way w/me in gaining a load of respect for the kid.
Pack, they're just a bunch of sphincters gloating and rubbing it in. I'd be fine w/that(barely) if it was the Cowboy, Skins, or Eagles........but not the Pack.........Real NYG fans know better.

Gross-man is better than Favre he says??.......Yeah............and Jason Kidd is better than Jordan!!!!!!!.........You should have thrown him out of the place based on the fact that he's an idiot.

    PACK,
Here's a nice post from the NYG Forum(NY GIANTS83) about Brett:

Brett Favre, the Greatest QB of all time will certainly be missed. He was a consumate professional and a class act. Sunday's will seem empty this year, with not even ESPN highlights to look at this football season. From a Giants fan to Brett, thanks for the memories and good luck in your retirement. And we will all look forward to cheering for you one last time, this time in Canton. You will be missed. "THE Gunslinger" and iron horse of the NFL. He truly LOVED the sport....playing more like a kid on a dirt road in Kiln, Mississippi...but he was in fact the leader of one of the most storied franchises in NFL history, leading them to victory in the final minutes of the 4th quarter. There has never been, and probably will nerver be, another like you. Thanks again Brett...hopefully you will replace Aikman in the booth soon enough.

    No problem my friend!
One thing i have learned over the years is that there are jerk fans for ALL teams, and you can't judge everyone because of some idiots.
I have seen Packer fans that make me wince with their stupid remarks and actions.

    I don't see Favre in a booth.

However, I hope ANYONE replaces Aikman, as long as it's not another former Cow. I'm sick of seeing former Cows every time I watch a football game.

Yeah but it'll take Gross-out about 200 years to do it.

Seeing the name of this thread.......isn't "stupid" and "Bears fan" a little redundant???

Yeah, it is. It's kind of like writing a post on a smart Nobel Prize winning scientist. Or a hot volcano. Or a very wet ocean.

If I was your English teacher Trom, I'd dock you a grade. Redundancy doesn't fly in my class.
