Strange place to meet a Packer fan

I travel for business a lot. A few weeks ago, I was in Hong Kong having dinner in a noisy British-style pub after a long day.

Some Asian guy from across the bar waves at me (do I know him, I wonder?) and says something that sounds like, "gawpagaw".

I kind of give him a, "Huh?" look, and he repeats it, a bit louder and slower: "GawwwPaaaagaaaaaw" and he points to my shirt.

I look down and see that I am wearing a Packer shirt.

He adds, "Rodga is reeeew goooo, yaaaaa?"

Got it. I give him a thumbs up and figure that his English is far better than my Cantonese.

There truly are Packer fans everywhere! Very cool. Or, he was gay and was trying to pick me up. Not sure.:happy0005:

That is a sweet story! I saw some guy wearing a packers shirt in Havana one time but I assumed he wasnt a fan and it was just a shirt.
